Maritime security is falling apart in World ·
It feels like we're seeing a massive breakdown in how global shipping and sea lanes are managed lately. Between the Strait of Hormuz and the North Sea, it's not just about oil prices anymore, but the actual stability of international waters. Do you think we're heading back to an era where navies have to constantly police every single trade route?

I’m actually leaning toward this first version—but I’m curious about the specific differences between the 2080 Ventus, the 2080 Gaming OC, and the other variations since there seem to be so many versions out there. Also, would it be possible to pair it with a monitor like this one? And if so, how does it stack up against the one mentioned above? Thanks!

Hey everyone,
I’m looking for some help putting together a build—ideally somewhere in the $6000 range—that includes a monitor. This is strictly for gaming, though I might dabble in some streaming down the road. I’ve still got my old monitor lying around, so the plan is to run a dual-monitor setup (the new one plus the old one). Ideally, I’d love an Intel i7 paired with an RTX 2080 or something in that ballpark, plus an SSD for the OS. I'm looking for a full service where everything is assembled and delivered to my door. Also, I'm a bit unsure about whether I should factor Windows into the purchase or just handle that myself... any advice? If you could drop some price estimates and recommend a reliable IT Services Company, I’d appreciate it. Thanks!
I’m looking strictly at this from a gaming perspective—nothing crazy, just something decent up to about $5000. I was actually planning on pulling the trigger on a build a while back, but then I changed my mind, and at that time, the 1080 Ti was basically king. Right now, I’m stuck working with an old Nvidia GTX 750 and an i3 paired with an SSD—it still technically runs, but man, those were the glory days 🤣. Since I don't know my way around hardware all that well, could someone walk me through the actual differences here? Thanks a million 👍
Just wanted to jump back into this thread—does anyone mind giving me their take on whether this setup is actually worth the asking price? I’m curious if there are any specific parts I should swap out or upgrades I should prioritize. Honestly, budget isn't my biggest concern right now; I don't mind paying a bit more if it means getting something significantly better. Thanks!
