Is it just me, or does the closer we get to an event, the more everything seems to fall apart? I feel like I can't even plan my weekend around a card anymore without wondering if the main attraction is actually going to show up.
I remember back in the day, you’d see a lineup and that was it. You knew what you were getting. Now, it feels like we're constantly dealing with last-minute reshuffling. It’s frustrating when you’ve cleared your schedule and bought the PPV, only to find out the matchups you actually cared about are gone.
Part of me understands the necessity—injuries and stuff happen, it's a brutal sport—but the frequency of these sudden shifts is getting wild. It makes it hard to build any real momentum or hype for the fighters when the cards are basically living on borrowed time.
Does anyone else feel like the "unpredictability" of modern combat sports is starting to kill the hype, or am I just being a pessimist?

The guy is still out cold...😂 🤣Or is he dead?🙄😕

Thanks for the tip.
And seriously, stop trying to freak me out with that avatar of yours.
Heh, don't worry about it. I just had a massive stash lying around and took some just to see what the deal was. No underlying issues or anything... or so I tell myself. lol.😁
Hahaha, that's just Dr. Green Thumb.😛 Cypress Hill.
restlesstrucker15, you’re kidding yourself if you think half of a 25mg dose is going to take you out lol. Besides, I heard fadedbear92 is getting those big orange 100mg tablets now. Just a heads-up: don't take them right before hitting the sack. If you do, you'll wake up feeling like you've been hit by a truck—totally groggy and disoriented. It's better to stay awake for a few hours after taking it just to gauge how it hits you before you finally crawl into bed. 😳Does anyone happen to know what the going rate is for a 100mg Q-pin?

Lmao, you little devil. You'll be seeing stars if you jump straight to four after just one 100mg dose.😉 😁
Yeah, it definitely lingers for quite a while. There are those days where you just don't have the energy to even force a word out, you know? It’s like you lose that social spark entirely. On top of that, it leaves my mouth feeling incredibly dry, and almost every single time I take it, it triggers this massive, uncontrollable appetite...

I’ve been running 100mg, and man, the side effects are no joke. I get these intense heart palpitations, cold sweats, and this heavy, crushing drowsiness. But then, it’s inconsistent—sometimes you actually feel a bit more alert, like you have enough energy to hold a conversation. Other times, you’re just sitting there laughing like a maniac at nothing, only for it to hit you all at once. You just crash; you’ll be out for thirty minutes to an hour before that sleepiness finally lifts. The first time I messed around with them, I made a huge mistake. I took four of them, spaced about fifteen minutes apart, while I was out walking through downtown Chicago. It hit me so hard I didn't even know where I was. I had to scramble to get home as fast as possible because I felt like a total zombie. And honestly, those Seroquel pills from the pharmacy? They’re smaller and white, but they’re just as much of a pain in the ass.
redcrane22 said:Yeah, that’s the consensus. You hear it from patients and doctors alike. For some reason, though, it hasn't happened to me.🤣
It probably comes down to how it triggers your appetite. Take me, for instance; if I'm on it for a couple of days, I start eating like there's no tomorrow. Last night, I polished off five eggs, half a loaf of bread, two large containers of yogurt, and a full liter of milk, and I *still* felt hungry. It isn't necessarily that the medication itself causes weight gain; it just turns your hunger switch to high, and before you know it, you're growing like a weed. hahaha
redcrane22 said:That's exactly what I'm talking about.
I think you and I are pretty much on the same wavelength here.😁 😍
The funniest part, though, is the reason my doctor prescribed the Q-pin.
She knows I’m actually trying to put on some weight, even though my mental health is totally stable.😁
Wait, does the Q-pin actually cause weight gain? I'm a bit lost here.
Look, I’m well aware that I don't necessarily need medication because my head feels perfectly fine. The only real issue is that I’ve been feeling aggressive lately—though, obviously, there’s always a reason behind it. As far as drugs go, I’m completely done with them; that experience with Geodon was nothing short of a disaster. Every time I step out the door, it’s like I’m carrying this sort of conditional sentence in my pocket, just waiting for an awkward situation to arise so I can pull it out and face the consequences, haha.
Honestly, I'm done. I still feel completely foggy and exhausted, like I'm walking through sludge. :S

I've been on therapy for a year at most, and I only take two 10mg doses.
Okay, it's not the exact same medication... but 200 mg?????
Yeah, I took the first one and waited about 20 minutes, but nothing happened. So I took a second, then about 10 minutes after that, I took a third. I hadn't touched any alcohol at all, either. This was Tuesday night and the effect is still lingering.😲
You see, I actually went out of my way to ask in that psychopharmacology thread how those specific therapies work and if anyone had any real-world experience with them. Instead, all I got was a bunch of people acting like experts, spouting nonsense that didn't make a lick of sense. So, on Tuesday right before heading out, I decided to take three 200mg doses of Eglonyl, and man, I am still feeling it. It’s like I’ve been living in a dream state for the last two days... it was honestly pretty gross. 🙂 😠 This stuff is heavy; I can practically feel it frying my brain. And what am I supposed to do? Walk into a psychiatrist's office and admit how easily I can spiral? If I tell them that, they’ll just hand me some even more intense prescription or something even harder, and I am telling you now—absolutely NOT happening!
Look, I’ll be the first to admit that being sober doesn't stop me from getting aggressive, though I don't hit a breaking point quite as fast. It’s just that once I step out into the world... there are way too many idiots out there, whether they're drunk or just naturally obnoxious. Whether I've had a drink or not, those people push my buttons, and before I know it, I'm losing my cool. Does anyone else deal with this? I'm wondering if there's actually a way to level things out a bit. I'm tempted to have a drink right now just to numb it, but then I'm left wondering if I'll even wake up tomorrow or what kind of mess I'll be in. So, I'm asking for some perspective if anyone has been through this.
The person making these points has a point, but I’m not looking for a diagnosis, nor am I interested in seeing a psychiatrist—I’m not crazy. I don't touch pills, whether they're for headaches or antibiotics, but since I'm currently on parole and fully intend to stay out of trouble, I was wondering if any of this could help me manage my aggression. That’s really all there is to it. I listed the therapies currently available to me above, and don't worry about the legal side of things regarding prescriptions... I just need someone with actual experience to tell me how the QR code, Aquarium Co-Op, Valium, and those Depakine Chrono meds actually work and what the deal is with them.
Look, I’m not exactly looking to walk into a doctor's office and have them start questioning my sanity, you know? I’d rather avoid that whole conversation if possible. I was just wondering how any of the options listed actually work—does anyone happen to have some insight on that?
Hey everyone, I’m looking for some insight on which of these options actually works best without completely wiping you out. I don't want to end up feeling like a total zombie or looking like some spaced-out idiot; I just want to feel steady, relaxed, and actually happy. My main issue is aggression, especially after I've had a few drinks. To make matters worse, I’m currently on probation, so I really need to get this under control. I’m avoiding the doctor because I don't want them flagging me for a psychiatric disorder or trying to slap some heavy diagnosis on my record. These are the meds I have access to right now: Quincy 100mg, Depakote 500mg, Prozac 50mg, and Sarafem 200mg. Honestly, I don't understand how any of this stuff works, but I'm certainly not going to start playing chemist with my own head.
