Lately, LogMeIn has been giving me nothing but grief. That’s like claiming Adobe Illustrator is an image editor just because it happens to have a few filters like sharpen, contrast, or gamma. Its core purpose is graphic design.

It won't even work in VLC Media Player. I can't believe this is actually this difficult, especially since I see so many people raving about Handbrake.
Can someone just suggest a different program that won't give me these kinds of headaches?

I’ve run into a bit of a snag. I used Handbrake to convert an AVI file into a DVD, including the subtitles, but now when I try to play that DVD using either VLC Media Player or Windows Media Player, the subtitles just won't show up.
Just to clarify, the subtitle file has the exact same name as the AVI. Handbrake embedded it automatically, which I know worked because there’s a "1" next to the subtitle entry—if it were a "0," I'd know it didn't actually embed.
It was a bit of a letdown, so now I'm thinking about trying again with Adobe video converter, but I'm stuck on which output format to pick for the DVD.

Aside from the massive list of formats available, I'm looking at these specific options:
-DVD - MPEG2 PS Format (*.vob)

-MPEG-2 Movie (*.vob)

-VOB - MPEG2 PS Format

Which one should I go with if I want a functional DVD?
