I’ve been sitting on 75mg capsules of Velax for a little over a year now. I suppose I should thank God that things are slightly better than they were, but it still feels off. It’s like I’m a pale imitation of my former self. I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe the dosage is just too low; my therapist suggested bumping me up to 1.1.0, but I decided to stick with 1.0.0. My days are a mixed bag—some are fine, others aren't, and sometimes I don't even remember that I'm struggling at all. Sleep is the biggest headache, though. Falling asleep is an uphill battle, and if I actually manage to drift off, I’ll wake up three or four times throughout the night. I take Xanax 0.5mg just to deal with that. Some nights I’ll sleep for ten or eleven hours, other nights it's barely six. As for the memory issues, I wouldn't rule out Velax being the culprit 😁 there are moments where the thought just evaporates right as I'm about to say it. Or I'll be mid-sentence and completely lose the ability to express myself. I used to be quite eloquent, you know. Sometimes I worry the pills are just making me duller...

Hi everyone. I’ve been on Pfizer 75mg extended-release capsules since early March. Unfortunately, therapy isn't an option for me right now—I have this recurring issue where I can't bring myself to travel to another city or a different area for appointments. It’s a pattern. Before any major event, or even something totally trivial, I spend two full days spiraling, obsessing over how things will play out. It’s exhausting. As for the medication, it's alright, I guess. Some days I feel fine; other days, everything falls apart. I was prescribed Motrin for the obsessive thoughts, but I don't take it. I don't see the point in adding more "toxins" to my system. At night, I take Xanax 0.5mg. My psychiatrist suggested I could call in for 3mg a day if needed, but I’m not interested in going down that road. There are nights when the Xanax lifts my mood so much I’d stay awake all night just to hold onto that feeling. Other times, it just knocks me out. The real issue is that without the Xanax, sleep is impossible. I wake up three or four times a night and I'm absolutely useless by morning. It’s a constant cycle, and I can't seem to shake this damn depression. I’m working on myself, reading self-help books, trying my best. I attempt to stay social, hang out with my girlfriend, get some exercise, but sometimes it just doesn't click. I don't know how to help myself or how to actually improve my life. I'll have a good week, then some stress hits, and suddenly I'm back in the gutter for another week. It's just a loop. For context, I'm 23 and have a diagnosis of F-35. The idea that I can't express my emotions 😁 feels ridiculous to me because I'm an open, communicative person; I've never had issues interacting with people or anything like that. Anyway, if anyone has advice regarding meds, personal progress, or similar experiences, please reach out. 🙂
