Eric Adams - Mayor of New York City, Part 4 in Political Scene ·

Honestly, they would be much better off just assigning every single member to grab some trash bags and haul the refuse over to the Washington D.C. landfill themselves from one of those spots where the pickup service always seems to stall out; at least then there would be some tangible benefit to all this effort.

Still, I suppose at least certain aspects of this discussion have become a bit clearer now.

Given that the religious zealots and their followers have been using every channel available—from direct messages to church pews—to demand more aggressive social media presence, this "counter-attack" shouldn't come as any surprise.

A colleague of mine has a husband who’s basically living the dream—he’s got that parent-educator status, the grandkids are being watched by their grandmothers, and he spends his days doing odd jobs fixing up cars.

Is it time to file a report?

I say "mitigate" because, honestly, all that traffic is just gonna funnel straight through the Suburban neighborhood now. You’ll have some guy driving in from Appalachia flying down Florence like he’s in a demolition derby, and trying to pull a U-turn at 2 PM? Yeah, that’s basically a guaranteed arrest. But hey, I guess they’re actually trying to do something for once and finally listened to the complaining.

Gotta give credit where it's due though—Main Street did a pretty killer job with the new road markings:

😬

BTW, reading the comments from the locals in those small-town Facebook groups is always a trip. It's the same old story every single time—it's split right down the middle. Half the people are happy, and the other half are just whining about how taxpayer money is being flushed down the toilet and bitching about the colorful park benches, claiming Eric Adams hasn't worked a single actual day in his life.🙂

I'm curious if anyone is using that shortcut near Twilight Springs.
