Dear moderator, or moderator... I’m actually not quite sure which one of you issued the ban, so please excuse the ambiguity in my address, but could someone please provide an answer to the question I posted above?

I was banned almost instantly—literally within a minute or two—right after I opened this thread on the "close to politics" PDF section, as per the title.

The explanation flashed on my screen for just a few seconds, stating that my ban was due to my introductory post. In that post, I had commented on the moderator's handling of two previous threads regarding the free import of labor from non-US countries into America—one of those threads had been closed, and the other had been deleted entirely.

Now, I wasn't criticizing the moderator because I wanted to pick a fight with the staff. My intention was simply to explain why I felt it necessary to start yet another discussion about importing labor into the US, given how closely this topic overlaps with those two earlier discussions (which were started by other users, not myself).

Couldn't this have been handled more simply? Perhaps by letting me edit my opening post to remove the comments regarding the moderator, while allowing the rest of the discussion to continue...

Also, I would appreciate knowing how long this ban is supposed to last.

Thank you in advance for your time and response.

The Gas Company's debt isn't some ghost from the past; it's being driven by how things are running right now.

If you're buying supplies at $33 prices but selling your services for $6.75, no amount of restructuring is going to save you.

From what I can gather, the Gas Company is legally barred from hiking up rates for residential customers.
That’s why all those people who moved over to the private sector are crawling back to Chicago City Gas...

To me, it feels more like he’s making fun of us... people like us who were foolish enough to actually pay for a ticket to watch his "artistic" posturing.

That movie is just pure, pretentious overindulgence.

I mean, seriously, who gave him that kind of massive budget to make this thing?

God help the poor souls $30 who wasted their money on two tickets for this mess.👎
