I’m leaning towards the same conclusion—some kind of virus snuck its way in there. I just really hope there's a fix that doesn't involve a total wipe and a fresh install of Windows. Besides, I can't even track down that winruq32.rom file anywhere online.

For the last two days, I’ve been getting this notification popping up every single time I boot my system. My gut tells me it might be some kind of virus, but I want to know if there's a way to fix this without having to go through the nightmare of a full Windows reinstallation.
I have my system set to German, so the error message reads like this:
"Problem beim Starten von winruq32.rom.
Das angegebene Modul wurde nicht gefunden."
The thing is, this winruq32.rom file that supposedly won't launch? I have absolutely no idea what it is...
