I’m at a bit of a loss here. I was caught speeding on the interstate and now I’m facing a $167. The driver who got pulled over right before me told me straight up: don't sign anything, and you're golden.
So, I took his advice and didn't sign a single thing. But then I read today that if I want to contest this "citation," I have to file an appeal within eight days. Is there actually any proof that I was driving at the speed they claim (they had my cruise control set at 93 miles mph)? To make matters more complicated, I actually live abroad. Does anyone know who I should contact or where I need to file this? I honestly have no clue what to do next.
