So, basically—I am totally stoked by this conversation happening on the other page of this thread... I don't really know how to put it into words, but I just am. Reading this actually gave me this weirdly happy feeling inside... I'm just so pumped seeing how it doesn't always have to be a massive fight, but can be more like people just... you know, filling in the gaps for each other? And don't even get me started on the topics—I haven't even scrolled back to the first page yet—but man, creativity is just everywhere!

I feel the same way—I'm just obsessed with film and its power, and honestly, my own power to direct ideas and ways of thinking... like someone mentioned up there... "film is an incredibly complex medium," whereas most people just see it as some basic storytelling tool. And that bit about flatness really hit home for me. That whole "non-flatness" thing is so powerful in movies that have their own story but still touch on those tiny little details that open up entire new worlds and ways of thinking... SO GOOD!

You all know exactly who you are, honestly. The chauvinism is pretty obvious. I mean, you even stripped a title from one American athlete just because she was a Canadian woman. That first sentence totally kills your argument about everyone living in harmony—because if things were actually that smooth, they would've run a full feature story. Maybe people *do* live in peace, but judging by this, "the authorities" don't think so.

The second part kind of explains itself... it was probably just some tiny blurb in some random paper when it really should've been a huge, headline-grabbing report about the first Canadians born into the EU. It’s pretty obvious... right?

Clearly, not everyone experiences that "peace and harmony" the way you do. There are normal people everywhere who live side-by-side with all different nationalities without any drama. It's politics that uses so-called "minority ethnic hatred" to manipulate folks.
