Everyone’s looking at about 650 square feet, and with prices in that neighborhood hovering around $1,800 per square foot, the math is pretty straightforward.
So, roughly 650 x $1,800 puts you at about $1.1 million.
There are three new units just like this one available.

My main goal is basically to build steady, long-term income. I’d probably take a chunk of that cash and reinvest it into real estate out in the Midwest or maybe some vacation spots along the coast.

Anyway, hopefully that gives you a clearer picture.
Since they aren't in a great location, I was thinking about selling them to pick up some properties in better spots. I could rent those out and then funnel the rental income into investment funds. Maybe during the first year, I’d just save up the cash to buy a plot of land or something.
I'm not entirely sold on the idea of liquidating everything just to dump all the money into investment funds at once. 🙂
It might make more sense to sell just one property and put that money into a fund instead—it feels like there's less risk that way.
Hi everyone,
I'm set to inherit three apartments soon, and I'm trying to figure out the smartest move to make with them.

- Rent them out and put that income into an index fund somewhere.

- Sell them all or trade them for different assets.

Or maybe something else entirely.

I don't know much about investing, and I'd say I'm pretty clueless when it comes to finance (for now), so I’d really appreciate any advice or suggestions you might have.

Thanks a lot.
