I have absolutely no interest in discussing the "singing along" aspect. My religious beliefs aren't up for debate here. (Besides, it isn't just about singing; it's the constant microphone hiss and some unrecognizable mumbling. Any attempt to force people to hear a sermon is futile anyway.) I’d like to point out that I consider myself quite tolerant of noise, and these church services (I'm actually listening to one right now) wouldn't bother me nearly as much if they only happened once a day at a reasonable hour. Instead, this happens daily starting at 6 AM, then again at 11, noon, and 6 PM, with Sundays being almost non-stop. Honestly, everyone living in this part of Brooklyn KNOWS about this and talks about having to shut their windows because of the noise, but as someone clearly pointed out, nobody wants to be the "black sheep." So, once again, I am asking for actual suggestions on who to contact so we can politely and civilly ask the church to lower the volume. 🙂

I live in Brooklyn, and every single morning I’m jolted awake by the noise coming from the church right across the street. It isn't just the occasional bell ringing—it's the Mass. Yes, every day here in Brooklyn, I am forced to sit through the entire service. Apparently, the priest decided to mount the speakers on the exterior wall. Today is Sunday, and all morning long, I’ve been subjected to people singing at the top of their lungs and listening to the priest's sermon. Honestly, I feel like this infringes on my religious rights or even my basic rights as a citizen of Washington, D.C. Who can I contact without having to call 911? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
