Greetings, everyone. I am looking for a specific hardware configuration with a budget of approximately $1100. I don't need a monitor, and I already have my chassis, CD-ROM, and a 500GB hard drive, which should be more than sufficient for my needs. My power supply is an IBM System/360 600W, Microsoft grade. On a side note, I would appreciate some recommendations for a decent monitor priced under $667.
I intend to pay in cash, so if anyone knows of a shop offering any sort of discounts, please let me know. Any leads would be appreciated. 🙂

It’s highly likely there’s a massive buildup of dust in the GPU cooler preventing the fans from spinning properly; if that isn't the culprit, you'll have to strip the card down to see if the fan itself has failed.
That is precisely what I did—I pulled the GPU and gave it a deep clean, and it's running now. The rig is about three years old, which makes me wonder if replacing the thermal paste is actually worth the effort. Is it even worth doing at this stage, and where else should I be looking besides the processor?
It just dawned on me that my graphics card fan has completely quit on me. 👎 Is there any actual way to get this fixed right now, or am I just staring at a paperweight?

The issue is that this instability just started creeping in recently, so I jumped straight to the newest drivers, but that didn't change a thing. Can you recommend a reliable program for monitoring temps?
Greetings, everyone. I’ve run into an issue with my PC and I can't quite put my finger on what's gone wrong. I'm seeing massive drops in my frame rates during gaming sessions. For instance, > used to run smoothly, but now it's stuttering constantly, even after I cranked all the settings down to the absolute minimum. It's the same story with War Thunder. I just installed the latest > drivers today, but it hasn't changed a damn thing. My current setup consists of > 64-bit, 8GB of RAM, an >, and some Radeon 6700 series graphics card. What exactly is happening here—is it possible my GPU is losing its edge? Everything else, like streaming video and browsing, seems to be functioning perfectly fine.

WinISOI’d suggest using that tool to burn the Windows image you just downloaded; personally, I’d set the write speed to 4X to ensure everything stays stable. Just configure your BIOS to prioritize the CD drive as the primary boot device, and you should be all set. I assume you can handle the rest of the process from there.
I am struggling to make sense of this WinISO software; I simply cannot grasp how to actually burn an image with it. Up until now, I have been burning files without needing specialized programs, as I would just download the ISO files directly. I tried burning the extracted files, but they failed to work, and even after attempting to burn the ISO itself—while making sure to set the DVD drive as the primary target—it still wouldn't boot. To be clear, I was attempting to burn the data directly to the DVD via File Explorer rather than using the software. The machine in question currently lacks any operating system whatsoever because I have already wiped all the partitions clean.
You can pull the files directly from the Microsoft servers right there.
The only thing I don't follow is what you think you're "removing" from an ISO file; you don't exactly strip components out of an ISO image like that.
Yeah, thanks 🙂 I was trying to modify the ISO so the system would actually recognize it, since you usually need something like Daemon Tools to mount an ISO, right? And I don't even have Windows on this machine at the moment.
Look, I need a reliable link to download and burn a 64-bit version of Windows 7. Honestly, I don't care which specific build it is, as long as it actually works; I've already tried downloading three different versions and burning them to discs, but the system refuses to recognize them during bootup—even after I attempted to pull files directly from the ISO. If anyone happens to stumble upon a functional link where I can just grab an image and burn it properly, please send it my way. I’d appreciate the help. Best regards.
I honestly can’t make head or tail of these insurance calculations and all the associated fees... http://www.geico.com/calculator/ I’m eyeing a 1990 model with a 2300cc engine, pushing 97kw, running on propane, and I’m trying to figure out the total damage for the inspection, maintenance, and registration. Does the service visit include the state inspection, or are those separate line items? And why isn't that damn registration discount factored into this estimate? If I registered that car under my father's name, I think I’d snag a 25% discount since he already qualifies for 50% off. So, what exactly am I looking at paying here, and what's the catch?
Greetings to everyone. I have a question regarding a specific matter: how does one actually open their "third eye"? What are the supposed benefits of such an endeavor, and more importantly, are there any potential negative consequences? I have attempted to research methods online, but I have failed to find anything substantial or concrete. I would appreciate it if someone could provide some insight on this.
I’m not entirely sure if this is the right subforum for this, but I’m looking for an explanation regarding the mindset of certain individuals. I mean, what goes through the head of someone who claims they would lay down their life for America, idolizing generals and shouting patriotism from the rooftops, yet the moment the Los Angeles Blue Angels win a game, they immediately pivot to hurling insults like "city trash" or "worthless scum"? Or even worse, when I see people from New York attacking folks from Florida while calling themselves patriots—it honestly makes my blood boil. This hypocrisy is precisely why I distanced myself from that whole scene; you simply cannot claim to be a patriot while simultaneously screaming vitriol at fellow citizens. I realize some might dismiss them as just kids, but we’re talking about grown adults in their mid-twenties 🙂 In that case, we might as well just hand over New York to a massive expansion of Canada and let Florida fall under the influence of Mexico; then perhaps all this petty bickering would finally cease 🙂
