Soccer Club Kits, Vol. 1 in Soccer ·

There are more missing—I just didn't get around to doing them all, I guess. 😁

Kansas is fine, though nothing particularly special about it. Looking at these jerseys above, I think—once again—that the Northern Ireland one is my favorite, and honestly, Lyon’s looks better than this season's...

Anyway, I caught up with Liht, who mentioned I could put together his little challenge, so here are my top 20 Dinamo jerseys through the years:

I wouldn't go out on a limb here, but I suspect all these Liverpool assets might be sold off before the Americans fully take over—since nobody really knows how they'll handle things. It could be great, I suppose... though I have my doubts. These American owners tend to work like old-school contractors—one shows up, finishes one job, then a second one jumps in—and I fear this could turn into a long-term headache for Liverpool.

Ireland!!!! Man, this guy is a total steal right out of the gate—he's incredible. I wonder if he'll be absolutely gassed after the summer once he burns through all his energy in those first few games 😁

Otherwise, that green color representing Ireland on the black jersey... It actually reminds me of that Umbro kit I posted a few pages back—you know, the one with those controversial historical vibes ☕

New York City looks great—it’ll probably look even better on someone—and the New England Patriots seem solid enough. As for the Dallas Cowboys... it isn't really about the color, I guess. It's more about whether anyone would actually laugh at someone wearing that at a Pride parade... though maybe not there, specifically.
The Barca kit feels more like something for a goalkeeper or just a training top—a bit too uninspired to be an actual jersey, maybe.

It’s honestly a bit of a joke. I suppose it’s fine for people living outside the US—or even just outside Washington, D.C.—since they can actually buy gear that was previously impossible to find. But combined with this specific site, the whole thing feels like a tragicomedy. Where is the new release section? They’re still selling scarves from six or seven years ago. You click the link for scarves, it opens hats and scarves, you click hats, and then it just dumps you into jerseys... well, maybe the amateurs won't be in charge for much longer, and once the organization is actually sorted out, we might get a real shop like this one.

And it shouldn't just be online; it should be at the stadium and around town too—so you can actually buy club gear that isn't just a jersey, a hat, or a tracksuit, but something like a t-shirt you could actually wear out at night, anywhere. Not just to a game.

The New York Yankees look incredible away from home—easily the best Nike kit we've seen yet. If I'm being honest, they're probably three levels above Chelsea FC, who, if you took away the crest, might actually pass for Slaven Belupo. It’s a bit different from the current one, which clearly feels like it was designed for a major club.

They’re pretty reliable when it comes to that sort of thing, I guess.

It hasn't been officially released yet, and FSC is calling it a "leak"—those leaks can be hit or miss. I seem to remember when that Manchester United kit came out, they released two wrong versions before getting it right.

In our history, red stands for the communists and white represents surrender... so what does this jersey actually signify? Surrendered communists, maybe? Please...

Probably some old political colors, I suppose. 😁
The Dutch are always switching up their away kits—they've swapped them with the French, Germans, Austrians, English, Spanish, and Portuguese... So, why shouldn't we try it once? I’d bet money it would end up being one of our best-selling away sets.

Alright, we get it—you're an Aberdeen fan—but let's be realistic here. I root for the LA Lakers, so I know our blue kits aren't always the peak of design. It’s probably safe to assume this specific template, which you see popping up all over American lower leagues, isn't exactly top-tier either.

Here's one I found over at footballshirtculture.com

The collection is great—both the home and away kits look sharp—though I have to agree with the French on one thing: the away kit really should have been executed much better. It’s a nice jersey, sure, but it doesn't feel right for the US; there isn't any red in it at all. It would be like if we were handed a blue away kit without any of those classic checkered patterns near the crest. It might be a handsome design, I guess, but it wouldn't be a kit that actually says the US is playing in it.

Just stumbled upon this thread—it's honestly too good. Did you design this jersey yourself? Maybe try using a slightly more realistic crest next time. 😁

Anyway, here’s one I put together for the national team:
