I was looking through some of the recent industry buzz today and it honestly just feels like the goalposts are constantly shifting. It seems like every year there’s this massive divide between the "critics' darlings" and the artists who actually shaped the culture we grew up with.

It’s frustrating because, in my mind, an award should be about the impact and the craft, not just who is currently trending on social media or who fits a specific "vibe" that the committee is feeling this season. I remember being so hyped for certain releases a few years back, only to see them completely ignored by the big ceremonies, while some newer acts get all the hype just for being "fresh."

Don't get me wrong, I love seeing new talent get their flowers, but it feels like we're losing the thread of rewarding legacy and consistent quality. It makes me wonder if these shortlists are even meant to represent the best music, or if they're just a way to signal what's "cool" right now.

Do you think these major music prizes have lost their credibility, or am I just being cynical about how much things have changed?

I appreciate the response, truly. However, I find myself wondering if anyone here actually knows whether Twinrix might cause these specific levels to spike in a lab report... I mean, look, I enjoy a drink now and then, but I certainly wouldn't call myself a heavy drinker, and honestly, I've never had any issues with my liver in all my years. Still, we have to remember that Twinrix is specifically a hepatitis vaccine, after all...
Best regards!
It has been about two weeks since I received my final dose of the Hepatitis A vaccine... and looking over my recent blood work, I noticed some numbers that seem a bit out of alignment. My AST came back at 55 (where the target was 38), my ALT is sitting at 157 (compared to the expected 48), and my GGT is up to 105 (when it should be around 55)... I can't help but wonder if there might be a connection here, or if perhaps it's just the result of my habit of indulging in a few drinks over the weekend...

Thanks!
