Is there any way to install a Max Orb without all that massive hassle? If it's possible, I might just go ahead and buy the Max Orb. I've already opened up the non-FX version.
Blue Orb FX won't fit on my motherboard, but you'll probably end up grabbing just copy/paste that into your browser. I have a Gigabyte AM2 socket, and some sites claim the Max Orb isn't compatible 😢—apparently, none of the Orbs with the round base will work with it.

It might be better if you placed one of those 10cm LED strips up top between the power supply and the drives, because it’s getting pretty dark in that spot. 😬
The Jet has a 5mm clearance from the floor and you can definitely feel the airflow. Plus, there's zero vibration because they're mounted on rubber pads.
Alright, I finally figured out a way to manage these cables! I ended up wrapping them all together using some garden mesh meant for securing tree trunks. Check out the photos:
Alright, I've just installed a 120mm fan and added another neon light—though it'll only fit right in the center. My next move is to cut out a window on the side panel in about two or three weeks; I'm planning to reuse the mesh leftover from the cut. I'll post some photos soon to show you what the final look might be like. Here are shots of the new fan and the neon light. Just a heads up, there isn't a potentiometer 😢 . I was actually wondering about that bottom vent... Are you planning on drilling a hole for it, or did you just install it as-is to let it breathe?
I actually ended up only partially driving the screws in and used some small cardboard spacers to bridge the gap. This kept the distance between the chassis and the fan at exactly 3mm, which successfully bumped my airflow up to a much better 120mm!
link Link2 Link3 Link4 Link5 Link6 Link7 Link8 Link9 Link10 I am planning on installing a fan speed controller! Here is some extra info regarding this controller. Also, how should I handle the cable management? What should I use to wrap them so they don't look messy?
