The "friendly competition" mindset in Fans ·
Is it just me, or does the idea of competing against your own teammates feel totally off? I've always felt like if we're on the same side, we should be pushing each other up rather than fighting for the same spot. Does anyone else find that kind of internal rivalry a bit draining?

It’s only a major issue if the bleeding is heavy—or frequent... For me, it happened maybe two or three times without me even noticing, and then it just went away on its own. It was always stage I or II, gone in a day or two... then suddenly, overnight, I'm dealing with stage IV, the worst kind...
The first thing everyone asks is whether I caught a cold or sat on concrete or something... but I realized I have what feels like an internal chill—basically a urinary tract infection...

Honestly? I wouldn't opt for surgery. I know several people—about 98% of them—who went through with it and still deal with the exact same issues today... or at least they did...

Look into Lion m cream; a few older folks who dealt with this themselves recommended it to me... I wouldn't wish this on anyone...

As for me, I'm currently fighting through stage 4 stupid H's...
Finally managed to catch up on some sleep this afternoon...

I'm using Lion m—it's a local cream but you can find similar stuff at any pharmacy.
Progress is slow, though—but I've only just started... plus a little ointment mixed with crushed aspirin on a gauze pad... we'll see how much progress that actually makes...

Some drops and a homemade cream should be ready for me by tomorrow...

I suspect pharmacies might carry similar drops—something for blood vessels, perhaps...
It helps soothe things, and hopefully, it starts receding soon...

And obviously, regardless of which cream you use, the most vital thing is staying hydrated and watching your diet...
A lot of people, including doctors, have also suggested:
Faktu ointment
Horse chestnut
Chepiche...

And everyone seems to agree on what to avoid:
Coffee, cigarettes, alcohol, soda, spicy or heavily seasoned food, and irregular meals.

The thing is, I don't really have issues with diet; I've tried spicy, sweet, salty, even alcohol.
So far, it's only happened four times in my life, starting about ten months ago.

The last time was four and a half months ago.

It never actually hurt when I had a bowel movement—except yesterday, because I've had a massive bout of diarrhea for three days straight :-P.

From what I can tell, it isn't quite as severe as what others are going through, thank God.

They help soothe things and should gradually pull the swelling back...

And of course, regardless of which cream you pick, the absolute essentials are staying hydrated and watching what you eat.

I neglected to mention—it doesn't seem to matter what I eat or drink—there’s no reaction, no burning sensation or bloody stools afterward

I have a question—can anyone offer some insight here?
I’ve been dealing with external hemorrhoids for about a year now. Every two or three months, I end up seeing blood in my stool—usually triggered by a bad bout of the flu or a few days of diarrhea—and then they just seem to flare up.
From what I can gather, others deal with much more frequent and severe issues than I do. Is what I'm experiencing something serious, or should I be looking into surgery at this stage?
