I was watching some old clips last night and it got me thinking about how quickly the connection between a leader and their people can just... snap. It’s one thing to have a bad run of results, but it’s a whole different level of weird when someone is standing there giving an interview and you can tell they aren't even living in the same universe as the fans.

It’s that specific type of cognitive dissonance that drives me crazy. You’re sitting there watching the chaos unfold on the pitch, seeing the frustration in the stands, and then the person in charge acts like everything is totally fine or, even worse, like they don't understand why anyone is upset. It feels patronizing, like they’re reading from a script while the house is burning down around them.

I’ve seen it happen in different settings, not just sports, but it’s most obvious when the stakes are high. Once that trust is gone and the "vibe" shifts, no amount of polished PR can fix it.

Have you guys ever felt like a team or a leader was just completely out of touch with what was actually happening?
Honestly, I’m probably just gonna go ahead and get them drawn anyway. Since I don't even have a period right now, being pregnant means I can basically only rely on good vibes and prayers at this point -.-
Basically, you just gotta order them regardless...
I saw one site saying you should definitely order them if you're checking hormones or looking for tumors, but then they said it wasn't necessary for standard tests.
But then another site I checked doesn't make any distinction at all between hormonal stuff and regular panels.

Thanks, Frank Booth9 div>
Hoping someone here might have the scoop on this.
So—I'm heading to Mount Sinai for some bloodwork, specifically hormone tests for my OBGYN. Does anyone know if I actually need an appointment? One site says you do, another says you don't, and now I’m just sitting here totally confused. I finally worked up the nerve to face the needle tomorrow morning, so I really don't want to waste the trip if they aren't going to see me. -.-
Can I use Agar Agar as a laxative? in Health ·
I’ve been using Agar Agar in my kitchen for maybe 4 or 5 years now, and honestly, I try to steer clear of regular gelatin whenever I can.
I use it to make all sorts of fruit and veggie jellies, and it’s my go-to for making cake fillings. I actually first stumbled upon it when I started playing around with vegetarianism and macrobiotics. Even though I don't strictly follow either one, things like Agar Agar, Aru, and Kuzu powder have just stuck around in my pantry as my favorite thickeners. Kuzu and Aru aren't actually seaweed, but I've found they're great for digestion too.
I really think people should try adding more seaweed to their diet—trust me, I know, because I’ve been dealing with constipation my entire life. For me, Kelp is the absolute lifesaver. It was the first one I tried because it’s super easy to sneak into almost any dish. I don't even bother with table salt anymore; for me, it’s both a seasoning and basically medicine. I toss a tiny little piece into all my soups, especially when I'm making stuff like chickpeas or other legumes, which are staples on my menu. You can find Kelp and other seaweeds at pretty much any health food store or organic market. I usually just grab mine at BioBio.
