Is it just me, or is the "wonderkid" cycle getting exhausting?

I was watching some highlights from a match last night and it hit me how quickly the hype cycle moves these days. It feels like every single week there is some new teenage phenom being hailed as the "next big thing" or the savior of a club, only to be shuffled around to a different league or bench a few months later.
I remember back in the day, you'd see a player develop over years. Now, it feels like a high-speed game of musical chairs. One minute they are the crown jewel of an academy, and the next, they are being moved across the continent just to find minutes or fit a specific tactical mold. It’s hard to tell if these players are actually finding their footing or if they're just being traded like commodities before they even hit their prime.
It makes me wonder if we are putting way too much pressure on these kids to perform immediately. Does the constant movement actually help them grow, or does it just prevent them from ever truly settling into a team culture?
What do you guys think? Is this constant shuffling of young talent actually good for their development, or is it just business?
