Something weird is going on with our creative spark lately... It’s a cute little thread, honestly, but there are fewer people showing up than there were dogs in space back in the day... Not even the moderator stepped in... Officially, Megan Gray4 gets the shoutout for all the effort and hard work, but since she’s the one who actually kicked this whole thing off, I guess it’s up to her to decide if we even keep going... Unofficially, everyone is getting a thumbs up except for those two outliers... They probably won't care much anyway... Drew Ross2 because she's always solid, Julka just because she jumped in, and Maria Wright62 simply because that's how things are supposed to go...

Megan Gray4's level of passion and commitment regarding this topic (and challenges in general) is honestly unmatched... I swear, if she doesn't inspire me to build a clone just to write something halfway decent about spring... imagine that, kneeling in the grass at Central Park... her comment really should have been left for the voting phase, but I guess I just couldn't help myself hahaha

I really can't be bothered to write some poem about spring. I'm no Hemingway, especially since I didn't realize I needed to start a new thread back when the intro girl was acting up... three March storms, better to get bitten by a snake than scorched by the March sunlight, May buds, when everything blooms and all that... honestly, I don't even feel like waking up spring during this autumn phase of my life. Better to just wait for summer... maybe something will actually stir then. Actually, I had
this whole story about spring planned. It was dedicated to my nurses at the local diner. About kids in some small town running out into the spring after a long winter toward endless freedom, and a boy who finds a wounded robin. But I didn't save it anywhere... or as they say, I didn't "save" it. Maybe it's still in my head, but you guys haven't earned it... not that you aren't good people. You're all genuinely good people, but you haven't earned it given the circumstances... and we all know it's not about who's at fault, it's just how things go. You should ask Cruella from the Red Cross if she remembers that story about the robin and if it made her tear up back then... the intro girl says just write whatever pops into your head. The only thing popping into mine right now is: "let's play spring." "Okay, but how do you play that?" "Easy. I screw you and you bloom."
