I tried laying the case on its side to see if that would help, and while the vibrations definitely died down a bit, they haven't gone away entirely....When I reached out to touch my CPU cooler (Cooler Master Hyper 212), I could actually feel it vibrating and sending those tremors straight through the chassis...I have a few Arctic fans lying around, and interestingly enough, when I swap out that stock Bionix Noctua NF-P12 for one of my Arctic ones, the vibration almost completely vanishes...Does this mean the fan itself is failing, or am I just dealing with some subpar build quality?
But the weird thing is, no matter where else I mount it on the case, it doesn't vibrate—it only happens right at the CPU heatsink.😵
(I made sure to test everything at max RPM)
According to the manufacturer's website for my case, the material used is 0.7 mm SPCC.
Hey everyone! I recently picked up a Cooler Master Hyper 212 with a single fan and followed all the installation steps straight from the official website... However, when things ramp up to max RPM, I can feel my entire case vibrating, even though the cooler itself stays pretty quiet
Here’s what I’m running:
MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX
DDR4 RAM 2X4GB
RX580 Nitro+ LE 8GB GPU
RYZEN 3 1200 OC 4Ghz CPU
1TB Seagate HDD
My case is a Corsair RMx Series
I tried swapping the fan from the cooler over to the case and even tested out different fans, but everything seems to cause vibrations once they hit full speed
Interestingly, I had this same issue with my old Intel Laminar RM1 stock cooler, though the shaking wasn't quite as intense back then... Any idea what might be causing this?
One thing I noticed is that the vibrations feel a bit less noticeable if I prop up the front end of the case off the desk or floor
