Fresh Windows install, but something's wrong...

I’m running into the same headache as previous users here. I recently did a clean install of Windows 10 from a disc after moving up from Windows 7. I thought I saved everything, but I realized too late that I left one specific folder sitting on my C drive. 😢 I have a licensed version of the ACTIVE RECOVERY PARTITION software, and after running a full scan, it shows a bunch of local disk partitions. I found my folder in one of them, but when I try to run a recovery on the whole thing, all I get is the empty folder shell—no subfolders, no actual documents. Is there any way to actually get my files back?
