Hey ladies! I’m 19 and have recently become sexually active, so I figured it’s time to get my health in order. Does anyone know how the whole process works for getting set up with a gynecologist through Medicare? I’ve already called a few local clinics, but apparently, everyone is fully booked. I thought about just going private for the first visit, but between the exam, ultrasound, and Pap smear, it’s looking like it'll cost $183, which is honestly way more than I want to drop right now. Do you guys have any recommendations, or does anyone know of a doctor who is actually accepting new patients? If I can't find someone covered by insurance soon, I was thinking about seeing Tihana Mazalin, but if you know someone even better, please let me know.
Thanks in advance for the help! 🤔
