Sleep paralysis experiences in Health ·
I’ve never really had them, at least not as far back as I can remember; except for that one single time. It happened once when I was sleeping on my back. And yeah, I’ve definitely dealt with that "witch" feeling too—that heavy sense of someone else being right there in the room with you. Honestly, I’m convinced it mostly hits people who aren't used to sleeping on their backs, you know? Like, if you're a side or stomach sleeper, you're probably safer. Plus, I think napping during the day and just general stress play huge roles; everyone I've ever asked about this says the exact same thing. Personally, I went through a phase with night terrors, so now I don't even dare sleep on my back. I always have this nagging feeling that something is just going to jump out at my face. Even wearing an eye mask doesn't do a damn thing.
