Today, I had one of those incredibly grating, screeching types of people at the beach—someone who truly got under my skin, to the point where I actually had to pack up and move to the complete opposite end of the shore. Honestly, between that piercing, shrill voice and her constant, loud outbursts, it was just too much. If she were in my neighborhood, I’d have kicked her out of the house just to get some peace and quiet. 😁

I suspect that for years, people in online communities have likely assumed I look and sound like someone such as Oprah Winfrey—or at the very least, someone like Diane Sawyer. 😁😁
But you make a fair point; it seems men generally gravitate toward voices similar to Miran Berend's. Still, I suppose we should be grateful—at least we aren't dealing with those high-pitched, grating voices. 😁

It isn’t really about judging or competing, in my view—it is more about impressions. 🙂
I truly enjoy using Vocaroo. There is something fascinating about pairing a specific voice with the persona behind the keyboard; through this writing, we essentially paint a portrait of the person on the other side. We build a sense of their character, which then merges with the image they present, and finally, it all coalesces with the tone of their voice. 🙂
In my case, most people assumed I was quite a rough-around-the-edges type based on my appearance—they were all expecting some sort of deep, gravelly voice. 😁
