Treating ourselves to something delicious... in Off-topic ·
Charles Bailey2 said:I don't have any left. We used to have an apricot tree right in front of the house—it produced enough every single year to keep us busy. My mother would make jam out of them; we practically lived on that stuff.
Then some pest comes along and wrecks the tree—drills straight into it, hollows out the core—and the apricots just dry up and crack. 😢
There are no more apricots, no more homemade jam... nothing at all. We actually had to pull the stump out with a tractor the other day.

That’s such a shame.

I haven't made it out to the orchard in a few days, but my husband mentioned that we've lost several of our cherry trees. We used to have about 19 or 20 of them. This is now, I believe, the fifth year of this decline.

And here is my pot of stuffed cabbage rolls. Matt /imgur.com/eSEzhq5> keeps making jokes about that sausage of mine—he won't let it go. But honestly, there is plenty more where that came from. 😁

Charles Bailey2 said:It’s definitely worth a shot—my mother always used to say that folks would head out to pick those specific kinds of apples just to make their homemade strudels.

They certainly do. These growers produce everything from fruit compotes and juices to various types of strudel—all without any of those unnecessary preservatives or junk. You can easily use those apples or plums in all sorts of baked goods; even a classic American apple pie would turn out great with them. 🙂

If you get the chance to get your hands on those apples, you really should give them a try.

Don't even get me started on the stomach situation. I have plenty to keep me busy until summer rolls around. 😁

As for apples... they absolutely have to be wild. None of that store-bought stuff, and certainly nothing from some middleman. We used to head out toward the hills near Austin—my husband's nephew owns a stretch of forest out there where those wild apples grow thick. They turn them into juices and all sorts of artisanal concoctions; one time, they actually roasted them right inside a wood-fired oven. Honestly, I couldn't tell you if I preferred the potatoes, the apples, or the carrots... every single flavor just melds together perfectly. It was sublime.

That’s the truth. Honestly, I barely even touch meat anymore—I find myself eating far more potatoes than anything else these days.

Have you ever tried tossing some apples into an oven? But I mean wild ones... not those store-bought varieties you find at Safeway.

It is pure bliss.

He certainly throws everything at the wall to see what sticks. 😁

The potatoes and mushrooms were easily the highlights for me. 😁

Alright folks, I’m heading out for the night. Let's catch up tomorrow. :*

Dr. Dre—try to come up with something actually intelligent this time... just please, nothing resembling some elementary school poem.

it’s like trying to run a marathon through quicksand--completely impossible

Hahahaha, you absolute idiot. 😁😁

I witnessed several harbingers of spring with my own eyes today—a subtle shift, perhaps, but undeniable.

There was that particularly obnoxious white mess near the intersection—right around 4:00 PM, just as I was heading home from the office.

Sarah Mendoza22 The user states:
The concept of a "budding" or emerging condition—specifically regarding the pelvic area—is often met with unnecessary panic, though I maintain that a measured approach is always more productive than an emotional one. In my experience, these types of physical developments are frequently benign, yet they demand a certain level of diligent observation to ensure nothing is being overlooked. One shouldn't dismiss them entirely, nor should one spiral into anxiety without cause. It is simply a matter of monitoring the situation with a calm, analytical eye. 🤣

There is simply nothing left for him to be jealous of—it’s truly a moot point at this stage.

🤣

spring 😁

Just wait until kad krafna finds out you sent me... a rose. 😁
Sean Taylor45 said:then I'm down for whatever else comes my way

You have always been the type of person who possesses an incredibly clear understanding of what they *don't* want.
Sarah Mendoza22 said:this is just getting more ridiculous 👼

🤣

It is truly remarkable how far we have fallen—to the point where we are all just exchanging photos of cleavage and bouquets of roses. 😁
Sean Taylor45 said:So, what's everyone's IQ actually looking like here?

I don't have one—and I actually have the documentation to prove it.
Megan Gray4 said:I am undecided.
Why shouldn't men try to stay young—if that is even possible?!
Is it a lure?
To lose one's mind and start scribbling those cheap, eroticized stories?
And how did you manage to flip from being so blunt to being so incredibly soft-spoken?

I have learned my lesson the hard way—I nearly lost my hair over this. 🤣
Sarah Mendoza22 said:just don't react publicly, alright? 😁

😁
Megan Gray4 said:Red, what have you decided? First you make a suggestion, then you go straight to threatening blood vengeance... whether those breasts stay or go, let Dad decide... you just get the attributes ready 😁

😁

I am not making threats involving blood vengeance—rather, I am focusing my threats on the breasts. 🤣

Listen, Muljkić—if one of those breasts goes, the women are going to lose their composure. You know exactly how that plays out. 😁
Sarah Mendoza22 said:No, not really 😁
I'll send it over to your inbox

mmmmmmmmmmm 😁

Send it over :*
Sarah Mendoza22 said:it works—provided you wrap it in something sensual.

It has been quite some time since I have encountered amateur photography that doesn't practically scream "take a look at me."

Bonča, for God's sake, please don't focus on the breasts... there's going to be a literal bloodbath. 🤣
Megan Gray4 said:I am officially lodging my protest!
How on earth can anyone argue that breasts aren't a valid, high-quality catalyst for creative expression? It’s a question that seems to baffle people—though, frankly, I find the hesitation quite perplexing. There is an inherent, profound complexity to the human form that demands artistic engagement, yet we constantly run into this wall of unnecessary hesitation. To suggest that such a fundamental element of our anatomy lacks the depth required for serious art is, in my view, a complete misunderstanding of the creative impulse itself.
That is nothing short of blatant discrimination. 😁

Megan Gray4. As requested:
Look, we need to talk about the fundamentals here—specifically regarding anatomy, because quite frankly, some of the recent work is just lacking discipline. We are talking about cleavage, the bust, the entire silhouette. Who is responsible for that tight, crushed line sitting barely ten centimeters below the chin? It’s a mess. If you actually want to render it correctly, you have to approach it with intention—you draw it exactly how you want it to look, not just by accident. 😁
