Slow app downloads from the App Store in IT Support ·
Does anyone have an answer for this? I could use some help.

I used an iPhone 6 for about three years before deciding to upgrade to an iPhone Xs. Is this just my second experience with Apple? On my old phone, apps from the App Store downloaded almost instantly, but now even the simplest app takes forever. It can't be the Wi-Fi because my connection is full. Are there specific settings I should change, or will it eventually fix itself? Am I being dense? 😵 It’s currently running iOS 12, so I plan to update it to the latest version—which was also on my old device—but downloading the update is moving at a snail's pace, much slower than before. What am I supposed to do? This is driving me crazy. 🤔
Dealing with insomnia... in IT Support ·
I am fairly certain this topic has been posted countless times already. If there is a massive dedicated thread for this and I simply missed it, my apologies to the moderators.

I recently picked up a new laptop and we installed Windows 7. My desktop setup is identical, and Java works perfectly there. I haven't had a chance to check the specific version on this machine yet, but I'm running version 8 here. It’s becoming quite a headache. I wanted to watch a series on a streaming site, but Java refuses to cooperate. I have checked everything I can think of; the settings are all marked as "enabled," and I'm using the version that doesn't have the "medium" setting in security. I even added the site to my exception list, yet nothing changes. Usually, if Java fails, you get some notification saying it's blocked or a prompt to install Java and restart the browser, but instead, I just get a blank gray box where the video should be. Any help? 😁🙂
