We need to print about 10-20 color pages a week.
I know it’d be cheaper to just hit up a FedEx Office or something, but sometimes the stuff is confidential, or I'm stuck printing at midnight because of a deadline.
Basically, I'm looking for a cheap color printer with cheap ink. I don't care about any extra junk like an ADF, scanner, or anything else—we already have dedicated gear for that.
Budget is around $500.
Any recommendations?

Hey there.
Picked up a new HP laptop at Best Buy today.
It came with MS-DOS.
As soon as I powered it on, the bottom corner of the screen started acting up with these horizontal distortions. Just constant flickering every few seconds before it settles.
Reminds me of those old cell phones where the ribbon cable would just give out.
I’ve got a video of it, but I have no clue where to upload it.
Is this some weird MS-DOS driver issue, or should I just haul this thing back first thing tomorrow morning?

Since the OS alone is eating up nearly 25% of my total budget, and I really need at least a 3-year warranty, should I just suck it up and buy a pre-built brand name PC? What’s the deal with service for those big brands here in the States? I'm asking because back when my HP died four years ago, it spent two whole weeks stuck in a repair shop. It's enough to drive me insane.

You completely blew the whole thread.
My bad. My mistake.
I don't need any peripherals. Just the tower.
😁
Looking for some PC recommendations here.
1. Just basic office stuff—Word, Excel, YouTube, music, nothing heavy.
2. Needs genuine Windows pre-installed. Which one should I go with? Windows 10, 7, or 8?
3. I want a solid 3-year warranty.
4. It’s gotta last me at least 3 to 5 years before I even think about upgrading.
5. My budget is around $1333.
Thanks in advance.
