I've been messing around with the Logitech MX Anywhere 2 for about a month now. Picked it up on Amazon during Black Friday for around $38... pretty decent deal. The biggest win for me is definitely how it tracks on basically any surface you throw it at. It’s got the usual left and right clicks, two side buttons, and one extra button right behind the wheel. Speaking of the wheel, it actually has two modes—standard scrolling or that infinity scroll thing...

If I had to nitpick, it doesn't feel quite right in my hand—wish it was just a tiny bit bigger, honestly. Also, the clicks aren't exactly silent... they can be a bit loud. You can connect it via the USB receiver or >. It doesn't work over >, which is another little downside if you ask me. It has a built-in battery that you can't swap out, charges via microUSB, and they claim it lasts up to 40 days on a single charge...

This thread's been open for a while now, but instead of starting a whole new one, I'll just drop my experience here... maybe it helps someone.

I’ve cycled through about seven different Bluetooth speakers. Started out with that little black cylindrical one from Xiaomi, think it was 3 W. W. pošto it was my first real attempt at this stuff and I didn't know any better, I was pretty stoked... actually ordered a second one for a buddy right away. A bit later, Xiaomi released that square stereo model. Picked that one up as a gift, and yeah, again, impressed by the sound quality, though if I cranked it to max, it would crackle sometimes... eventually replaced it with that colorful legendary Xiaomi stereo. Couldn't pass that one up since it had a fresh design, better sound, and finally added an aux input. Had one in my rotation until very recently. Then the Anker SoundCore 2 came along and bumped it out of the collection... same price point, but noticeably better specs. Everything from being waterproof to the sheer volume and clarity. Since I wanted to see what else Anker had to offer, I grabbed the BassBoost and the next iteration, the SoundCore motion B. BassBoost is double the price of the others, but honestly, the sound quality at every level justifies it. Finally found a BT speaker that actually delivers decent bass... My only gripe is that it doesn't support TWS—you know, the ability to pair two speakers wirelessly. That feature is on the SoundCore motion b, but the low end is significantly weaker compared to the BassBoost. Right now I have those two, and I find myself using the BassBoos most often. I use a Y-splitter via aux to hook it up to my car radio, which makes the audio much better. I usually run the Soundcore motion b in a pair, like when I'm watching movies to get that home theater vibe. It's a totally different world when you have two paired up versus just one...

Has anyone actually spent some time with this Bose speaker?

Seems like a decent enough steal for backyard parties or whatever... maybe even outdoor stuff if you're feeling adventurous. Anyone got a better suggestion for something in this price range?

I've been leaning on this Anker Power Bank 10000 mAh for years now... pretty much a staple. Back when my phone had a 3300 mAh battery, I could get two full charges out of it. Now that I'm using a 4000 mAh model, it barely gets me one full charge and a little extra... which makes sense, I guess. It’s four years old, so obviously the cells aren't what they used to be.

So, I finally pulled the trigger on something a bit more heavy-duty ZMI PD 20000 mAh. It supports Quick Charge 3.0, and it's actually powerful enough to juice up some of those newer ultrabooks too.

Shala, seriously though, did you figure it out yet? I usually just grab some liquid specifically made for LCD screens to clean the whole chassis every now and then. You spray it on like a mist and then wipe it down with a fine microfiber cloth, the kind you'd use for glasses.

Thinking about picking up an Anker Power Bank... wondering if I could actually use it to charge my HP Spectre x360. The laptop has a USB-C port, but it’s strictly for data transfer—it won't take a charge through that port like you'd expect from a portable charger. Is there any way around this using an adapter USB-C to Lenovo power input to force the charge? Also, the max output on this Anker Power Bank is only 45W (15V/3A), while my original wall brick is rated at 65W. Will it even work with that lower wattage? Some people mentioned the portable charger needs to "talk" to the laptop to know what voltage and current to send, but apparently, this laptop doesn't have that handshake capability built in. So, I'd need some kind of controller to dictate the charging parameters. Does anything like that actually exist on the market, or am I looking at a DIY project...
