Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
Does anyone happen to know if Dr. Saraga is seeing patients privately down in Miami? I recall he used to be at the Vlašić clinic, but I’m not entirely sure if he’s still practicing there.
By the way, if anyone has experience with him, do you have any idea what the typical cost for a consultation looks like there?
Prescription glasses recommendations? in Health ·
Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone here has any firsthand experience ordering prescription eyewear through the Warby Parker website? I’ve noticed they offer some pretty competitive pricing and an extensive selection, which has me considering placing an order. If anyone could share their thoughts or a quick story about their experience with them, I’d certainly appreciate the insight. Thanks.

Well, I'm finally out, and everything seems to be returning to normal. Looking back on the whole experience, I can't help but feel that the attentive nursing staff and the sheer placebo effect of those "pills" played a much larger role in my recovery than the actual illness did. Regardless, I'm grateful to be on the mend.

Yeah, there is definitely a urinary tract infection present. Is this something that usually clears up on its own, or is it more permanent?
Hello everyone,

I wanted to reach out and get some perspective on a situation we're facing. An elderly lady in our family recently had her sedimentation levels spike well over 100, which led to her being admitted to the hospital. While she was at home, she was perfectly lucid and herself, but since arriving at the facility and being placed on a higher dosage of medication, things have taken a strange turn. There are these sudden moments where she starts saying things that make absolutely no sense at all; she'll be speaking normally one second, then drop something completely nonsensical, and then snap right back to her usual self the next. Has anyone else encountered something similar with their loved ones? I'm wondering if this seems like a side effect of the medication or perhaps something else entirely, and whether you think these episodes might eventually subside.
