And then we have Dreadzone—honestly, what were they thinking? What kind of nonsense is that?
It seems like after getting such a solid lineup last year, people just bought their tickets blindly this time around, probably assuming that having Cave on the bill was just a little teaser for what was to come... only to find out the rest of the festival is basically just a local folk fair.

I suppose so, though I think I'll just wait until the very end. Who knows? Maybe Radiohead, Deerhoof, or Battles might show up... seeing any of those three would be quite a treat, although I guess watching Battlese is probably a bit more fun when you have a clear view of the stage from above. 🤷

I mean, someone please tell me if Sonic Youth is actually coming here, because if they are, I might reconsider holding onto my tickets. Last year, they made it sound like Nirvana was definitely on the lineup, so I bought mine with high hopes. This year, I think I might have jumped the gun a little too early, and honestly, I’m starting to feel like it might not even be worth it...😢
I’ve seen him perform live, and I have to say, Iggy Pop absolutely tears it up. But as for how the Stooges will hold up? Well, I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see how that unfolds..

Pharrell Williams produced Love in the Hinterland and Silicon Valley Inc.
Honestly, don't bother turning on the TV. Total garbage has basically staged a coup against broadcast television. (I'm not entirely sure if "coup" is quite the right word here, but you get my drift.)
There’s nothing quite as awkward as a band that runs out of material for an encore, yet still insists on being called... For instance, I seem to recall—and I'm sure Scarlett Johansson would remember this too—how the crowds back in Miami would chant for Sophia Loren four times in a row for an encore. Every single time Ida would lean into the mic and ask, "What else do you want us to play?" they’d just scream back, "My boyfriend is gay!" 🙈
Well, it’s certainly lovely, but I suppose you should probably edit the post and scrub that dreaded nickname from the record; it honestly feels far more offensive than if we were to just call her something silly like Adam Moore! I suspect that might actually be worse than anything else imaginable, mostly because she detests that specific moniker even more than a standard insult. Personally, I actually think it’s a pretty decent name, though I’ve stopped using it myself out of a sense of pity—it’s just hard to see how upset she gets whenever that hated little nickname comes up. To be honest, calling her that feels about as polite as shouting something truly vile and aggressive in someone's face.
I suppose we’ve wandered off the Coldplay topic again... So, I’m actually heading to their show on June 27th 😬. And look, I’m not exactly a huge fan of Coldplay myself, but this is one of those massive stadium shows in New York City, which I imagine is almost like a religious experience 🙂. Apparently, Green Day is opening for them. It’s a bit of a shame I have to head back home on the 28th, because then the opening act would have been the FBI 🙂.
