Printer recommendations (megathread)

Hi there! I'm looking for some advice. We're planning to pick up a printer—maybe a multifunction unit—for home use. Ideally, it would be a color printer with affordable ink, or perhaps something that plays nice with third-party cartridges. My budget is around $400. $167 It needs to support both Wi-Fi and USB connectivity. If anyone has any recommendations, I’d really appreciate it!
