But really, why on earth would that ever be considered illegal? "A buddy of mine just sent me some cash," I'll say, and honestly, isn't that the end of the whole discussion?
It’s quite fascinating, isn't it, how they impose such strict limits on bets? It reminds me ever so much of those little neighborhood pubs back in the day where the owner might only let you put down a measly $67 on a certain game, and in much the same way, some of these betting houses will restrict you to a mere five or ten dollars on specific matchups.
Every single transaction made to various "merchants"—you know, things like betting sites, online retailers, and all that good stuff—is being closely monitored. On the other hand, if you're just sending money from your PayPal to a friend, those transfers don't even register on their radar! I mean, can you imagine? If they counted every little peer-to-peer transfer, wouldn't absolutely everyone be sitting at that VIP diamond level by now?
The only real decision you’ll need to make when you set up your account with Skrill is whether you intend to utilize it for your own "personal" needs or if you're planning to run things through a "business" profile.
One simply isn't permitted to maintain more than one account unless they specifically grant you permission—which, if I recall correctly, is reserved for those of us who have achieved Gold Status!
Now, regarding the transfer of funds to betting sites, that is perfectly acceptable, provided that you are diligent enough to explicitly indicate that the capital is intended for "gambling" purposes, wouldn't you agree?
Well, you really just have to contend with whatever limits are set on your PayPal account! It all depends quite heavily on your specific VIP status, you see, which might grant you anything from $250 at an ATM daily up to $1,000 when using POS terminals.
Indeed! It is precisely the same situation for the other quarters as well, where you’ll see things like 0.5 or 1.0 listed over on DraftKings, for instance.
Oh, by the way, I really need to mention this whole mess regarding how betting sites handle their language settings. Last season, there was this absolute disaster involving a UEFA Champions League match on William Hill where the terminology was completely nonsensical! On the English version of the site, they clearly list "booking points," but on our localized version, it suddenly switches to "number of fouls." So, I see a margin of 45—or maybe even higher—and some guys start hammering away at the "under" because they think it’s just foul counts. When they finally explained what was actually happening, I immediately jumped over to the English site to double-check, and boy, was I in for a shock when I saw 🙂
Is it just me, or is it incredibly refreshing to find a platform where they aren't trying to shave off a little slice of your deposit right at the start? Honestly, aside from DraftKings, it seems like nobody else is taking a cut when you're putting money in!
So, I’m looking at this right now and, honestly, it’s just one of those things where nothing seems to work quite right, doesn't it? The only real way to get around it is to scroll all the way down to the very bottom of the page and toggle the settings so it displays the "full site," and once you've done that, everything should finally behave! Of course, you'll probably have to play around with the zoom levels to make it look decent, but it works!
So, you're essentially placing a wager on which team will clinch the championship, but here’s the kicker: at the end of the season, you actually take their final point total and add whatever number is tucked away in those parentheses to it!
It really just comes down to the individual site, doesn't it? Some of them are perfectly happy to accept PayPal, while others won't touch it with a ten-foot pole! If you're ever feeling unsure, why not just head straight over to their official website and take a quick peek at the available payment options listed there? It's always better to check beforehand, wouldn't you agree?

Honestly, if I were in your shoes, I would just steer clear of them entirely and enjoy some peace of mind! Wouldn't that be much better? It’s highly probable they are just looking for identity verification, exactly like every other platform out there does.
If you decide to go with an over 1.0 bet—you know, the kind where there isn't a draw option—and the match ends with exactly one goal, they actually refund your entire stake! Isn't that just marvelous?
DraftKings won't even think about limiting your account until you've managed to pull a significant profit from a single match, perhaps something involving the ATP or some other niche sport where people don't typically place massive wagers.
I actually managed to get my account verified yesterday without even waiting for that physical code they usually send through the mail!
I just shot them an email containing my driver’s license, state ID, and a utility bill at documents@fandael.com. I even hopped onto their live chat to let them know the documents were sent since my postal mail hasn't arrived yet, and wouldn't you believe it? The whole thing was sorted out in just five minutes! They sent me an email where I simply had to click to confirm all my details were accurate—or just reply to the thread saying everything was correct—and then, presto, I was all set to start making withdrawals.
Skrill has rolled out a brand-new policy where you simply upload a photo or a scan of your driver's license or passport, and wouldn't you know it, your account gets verified within about two to three weeks without any pesky limits holding you back!
But wait, there is actually an even faster way to handle this—isn't that wonderful? If you give them a quick call right after you finish uploading your documents, they can actually wrap up the whole verification process in just five to ten minutes!
The number to reach them at is 00442035145562
Just make sure you have your user ID handy, which you can find sitting right there in the top right corner of the screen, and be prepared because they will likely ask for your date of birth and potentially your zip code.
