The media landscape is perfectly transparent, isn't it? It’s almost laughable. My people can't even get ten minutes of coverage for a straightforward report on an attempted Murder, yet just a few days prior, they spent seven straight days obsessing over 120 broken chairs in some Small town, USA. What else is there to discuss when the priorities are this skewed?
casualrider43 said:The evening paper reports that the police are asking the local authorities to ban certain supporter groups (read: the Bad Boys) because they supposedly cause trouble... but I have to ask, who is actually pulling the strings at the FBI? Just look at the birthday parade organized by the rival supporters recently; based on the photos, I didn't see a single cop in sight. Yet, whenever we have a march on the streets here in Chicago, there are hundreds of SWAT officers in full tactical gear, surveillance vans with cameras, and everything else. So, I’m posing this question to the press: how does that work? Why is the police force in Chicago so fundamentally different from the departments in other major American cities?
It’s the same story with the security guards from that Sokol Marić firm—they seem to apply the law with such selective precision. They cling to the rulebook like a drowning man, but only when it comes to the actual Bad Boys. Meanwhile, the sycophants supporting the occupiers can walk right into the stadium without even being searched, let alone sitting in their assigned seats! According to the laws governing sports fans, security personnel act under the direction of the police. Therefore, my question for the journalists is this: under whose specific orders is the police department operating at the stadium?
Just because you didn't spot them in the photos doesn't mean they weren't there!
Greetings, everyone... I’ve finally decided to join in on this mockery, though I certainly disapprove of the general atmosphere here. Still, after lurking for a few years, I felt a sudden urge to contribute something—even if it’s just to have something to laugh at while I read through the threads.☕
