Gary Green32 said:Time flies, I guess. Watching the whole BBB and Dinamo situation unfold... it’s honestly kind of depressing how much it’s becoming a reality. Football is all about emotion, right? And look, I’m not trying to shade any Dinamo fans—there are definitely some real, die-hard supporters out there—but it feels like there just aren't enough of them to make an impact. Maybe that's just how it is.
We’ve always said that the BBB crew are basically just robots, I guess. Just a bunch of people with zero emotion. Honestly. They’re just looking out for themselves, honestly. Not the club they claim to support. It's more about them than the team. Meanwhile, you've got the actual supporters who show up and grind for all 90 minutes, win or lose.Get lost.I mean, at the end of the day, those raw emotions? That's basically what makes football, well, football. I guess. They were definitely lacking that. I guess..
Honestly, I don't really care what anyone else thinks. If we lose, I’m probably gonna get even louder about it, and if we're winning? Yeah, I'll be riding that high even harder. I guess in every crowd, you've got those people who just show up for the group itself, but that stuff doesn't last long. Like Laura Mitchell87 was saying, if you aren't bringing actual emotion and love to the table, you're basically just lying to yourself.
Gary Green32 said:BBB actually had some momentum going once. They felt like they were doing something, I guess. Civil society back in the 90s... man, what a trip that was. It’s funny looking back at how everything used to feel so much more raw, I guess. You had all these grassroots movements popping up out of nowhere, just people trying to make sense of a changing world. Everything felt a bit more DIY, maybe a little chaotic, but there was this weird energy to it. It wasn't like the polished, corporate-sponsored non-profits you see today. Back then, it was just people in living rooms or small community centers trying to actually change things. I don't know, maybe I'm just being nostalgic, but there was something about that era that felt a lot less manufactured.Back when everyone was fighting to protect their reputation against that old-school administration—you know, the ones who were busy crushing civil liberties and gagging the press—the rest of civil society basically stood shoulder-to-shoulder with BBB. But then they shut down that site, and BBB... well, you know how it goes. They're turning into their own little subculture, I guess. Just like so many other short-lived subcultures we've seen popping up all over the US lately. So, now the hipsters have officially arrived. 😁
If I’d actually been out of diapers back in the 90s, I probably would've done a much better job than this... but man, you really dropped the ball here.
"Look, you can't have real fans without heart and soul," says Jessica Long8.
So, most of you guys are just obsessing over some tiny group in a city of like a million people and their suburbs. And now Laura Mitchell87 is out here claiming they’re the biggest powerhouse in Europe and basically run the show everywhere. I guess.Who even cares about these numbers anymore? Honestly, we weren't even this many back in the 90s or the early 2000s... back then, it was mostly just casual fans filling up the north stands and showing up for the big away games. It’s always been this relatively small core of true BBB diehards. Anyone still active here is doing it out of pure love, spite, pride, or whatever else—they definitely haven't folded under pressure. Maybe the fact that we're such a small group in a massive city like Miami actually says something about what the average fan thinks of the club (I mean, they did win those XY titles in a row, right?). Either way, the North will always be there.
Gary Green32 said:On the other hand, the Black Knights have become easily the most active civic force in Miami over the last few years. Honestly, they’re basically a powerhouse at this point—the kind of group that could probably take down a mayor just to get them to shut up and leave them alone. I guess.
Must be nice. Enjoy yourselves.
Gary Green32 said:Laura Mitchell87 can repeat on this forum a hundred times that you guys are the best, but honestly, that feeling you get on a weekend when you head down to the stadium and see how desperate you all actually are... it makes me get why you come here to post this stuff.
It’s pretty pathetic what Našmrkati has done to this club, but walking into those stands? That’s pure pride. It's just pride that there are still groups of people out there who will keep fighting for this team because they actually give a damn.
