Nature's sudden "reset" button in Philosophy ·
It’s wild to think how quickly a single moment can just wipe the slate clean for an entire planet. One minute everything is thriving, and the next, it's all over in a heartbeat. Do you think life is actually resilient enough to survive that kind of sudden chaos?
To be perfectly clear, we are talking about these specific updates:

KB 313 3977
KB 314 9090
KB 314 8851
KB 314 8198

Hey there,

I’ve run into this incredibly frustrating cycle where every single time I let the computer run through a batch of updates during shutdown, the next time I boot up, I'm slapped in the face with an application ERROR 0 cx0000005. It completely paralyzes the machine—I can't get a single program to launch! My current workaround is to force the system into Safe Mode just to hunt down and uninstall those specific updates, which finally gets everything running normally again. Once it's stabilized, I go into the settings and hide those problematic updates to prevent it from happening again, but I've had to do this dance more times than I care to count. Occasionally, if I'm lucky, I can spend hours scouring the web to pinpoint exactly which update is the culprit or just try my luck by stripping them out one by one, but honestly, it's exhausting. Does anyone know if there is a more permanent fix for this mess?

So, here’s the deal: every single time I go to shut down my PC, some damn update decides it’s the perfect moment to install itself, leaving me staring at that annoying little yellow warning triangle next to the "Shut Down" option.
And then—get this—instead of actually turning off, the whole system just forces a reboot straight into a Blue Screen of Death, followed by that tedious error report.
