He clearly has talent, but he is far too young to be acting this way. It would be best if Carlos Sainz Jr. gave him a reality check.
That is precisely why I believe neither of them will achieve anything significant this season.

Furthermore, Sainz isn't a worse driver than him. Last season was just bad luck, and Max Verstappen was simply better—plus, he is a much more responsible driver rather than a loose cannon. I prefer him.
By the way, qualifying is returning to the old format starting in Bahrain.
I don't buy these excuses from Ferrari. Claiming they were "surprised by Mercedes on medium tires" is nonsense. There was a ten-minute red flag; they had plenty of time to see exactly what the competition was planning.
It's also obvious that Mercedes wasn't the only team to notice the track temperatures dropping and realizing the SS wouldn't be at 100% capacity.
Decisions like these only serve to decrease their chances of ever challenging Mercedes-Benz.
Ferrari continues its long-standing tradition of making catastrophic decisions and actively sabotaging its own drivers' chances at podiums and victories.

Q1 was a disaster. Nobody could get their rhythm. That 90-second window is garbage. They should just bring back the old format.

The truth is, he should have been disqualified entirely instead of being handed that ridiculous five-second penalty. Regardless, that doesn't change the fact that it isn't enough to earn him a superlicense. ☕

What are you talking about? What disqualifications?
If you actually follow Formula 1, you would have seen this happen already this year. It wasn't identical, but it was arguably worse. A crew from the back of the grid messed up their positioning and they were hit with the same five-second stop-and-go penalty. The rule applies exactly the same way regardless of the circumstances.
