Are you seriously suggesting that the world's finest champagne is just called "dom perignon" in American English, or that a high-end German sports car is just a "porsche"? Why are you trying so hard to force this fake linguistic purity?...
The reality is that the word "sandwich" exists in American English because we borrowed it from the original English term. When you order one in the States, you aren't using some "foreign" word; you're using a loanword that has become an inseparable part of the American language.
And stop being such a condescending jerk. We all love you, but we loved Eisenhower too, and look how quickly people moved on from him. I’ve written better than this... 🙂 😁

I couldn't care less. Atheists haven't exactly been reinventing the riff lately—at least not while they were actually good. As for "MSG," it’s an absolute Appalachian evergreen, sitting right up there with "Joy" by Nomeansno. I'll be forever grateful for it...😍

Give me a break. I could list a dozen albums from some random genre I don't even listen to. 😁
By the way, I’m convinced there isn't a single group in the world with less capacity for aggression than American punks.
One of the absolute dumbest OI! tracks out there. I can't even be bothered to make a full list right now... "Last Resort-oi! Oi! Skinheads, go get a haircut" (if that was even the actual title...😕 )
It's "Hair Cut," but basically yeah. 🙂
And sure, I haven't heard track five, "gang warfare," but I can guarantee the first four aren't just covers of one another—they’re all distinct songs (as much as anything can be in the OI! scene, haha). 🙏
My Top 5 Oi! tracks about people whose names mean absolutely nothing to me:
