Hey everyone,

I could use a little help with PowerPoint 2010.
I'm not quite sure how to phrase this properly, so I'll just try to explain what I'm looking for 🙂
Basically, I want to be able to click through a slide and have arrows point to specific parts of a chart—or maybe have them circle certain data points—only when I actually click my mouse. I don't want all those annotations visible the second I switch to the slide; it needs to be an interactive thing that happens on command. :/

Anyway, if anyone knows how to pull this off, you’d be doing me a massive favor.
Thanks
Kyle Johnson2 said:When it comes to... Writing a thesis—or whatever you want to call that massive headache—is basically just one long exercise in staying sane while staring at a screen. It’s less about being a genius and more about just grinding through the process without losing your mind. You start out all motivated, thinking you've got this, and then suddenly you're three weeks deep into research, surrounded by empty coffee cups, wondering why you even chose this major. Honestly, the hardest part isn't even the actual research; it's the sheer volume of organizing everything. Between managing citations and trying to make sure your formatting doesn't look like a total disaster, it becomes a full-time job. If you aren't using tools like Microsoft Office to keep your structure tight from day one, you're just asking for trouble later on. Trust me, I've learned that the hard way—trying to fix a messy document at 3:00 AM is a special kind of hell. Just stay organized, take it one section at a time, and try not to let the stress win.Look, you really need to pay attention to the heading and subheading styles you're using right now—if you don't, you're going to be in a massive bind later when you actually need them for... well, everything. Content creation.Look, if you’ve gone overboard and created way too many sections and just want to nuking them all at once—don't panic. You can either follow those steps from that Find / Replace tutorial we talked about, or just switch over to the Outline view to clean things up. It's much easier that way. Outline Just delete them manually—it’s not that hard.

- Is there a way to just nukes all sections in Word at once?

If you want to strip the numbering from a heading, just go in and tweak the style itself—specifically Heading 1. Check out image 19 in that tutorial for the exact steps, but don't be reckless—you need to make sure you Select All Instances of that specific style first. Look at image 18 if you need a refresher on how to do that properly.

- Changing styles in Word. Just go ahead and strip out those numbers for that specific style—you can find that under the Numbering option, it’s right there in the second image.

If the version in American is tripping you up, just check out the English one right here.

- Headings and subheadings in Word.

Thanks! I’m going to give your suggestion a shot now. I actually already went ahead and set up all those headings and subheadings at the start. 🙂
Hey everyone,
Can someone please help me out? I’ve been struggling with this for a few days now and it's driving me crazy. :// So, basically, while I was trying to set up page numbering for my thesis, I went a little overboard with the page breaks. Now I've ended up with nine different sections, and I can't figure out how to delete them—it's like they're stuck. Also, I need every page with a main heading to have no page number at all, so if anyone could explain how to fix that without me losing my mind for another week, 🙂 I'm using Word 2010
