Every time I open documents in Microsoft Office, the images don't show up—I just get these empty little boxes where they should be. They print out perfectly fine, which makes zero sense. I already tried reinstalling the software, but the issue is still stuck there. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. Anyone know how to fix this mess?

My Dell Latitude monitor started acting up a few days ago—it begins flickering the second I power up the computer. It looks exactly like those old fluorescent lights buzzing and strobing before they finally catch, lasting anywhere from a few dozen seconds to maybe a minute and a half, after which things settle down and run fine. If the PC is in sleep mode when I boot up, the flickering happens sporadically—sometimes it shows up, sometimes it doesn't. Any idea what's going on here?
