Bryan Fowler42 said:I don't really get the idea that Sociedad isn't fighting for anything. I saw that claim on another news site too...but they can still catch up to Sevilla and grab fifth place, which secures direct entry into the EL. If they don't, they'll just end up in the qualifiers for the EL. So, what's the big deal? 🤷Sure, they’d probably be seeded in those qualifiers, but you never know what kind of team might be waiting for you there. As for Granada, they've been a total disaster on the road—they've only managed to pick up one single point in their last nine away games.

Maybe saying they aren't fighting for anything is a bit of an exaggeration, but his argument seems to be based on the idea that Sociedad absolutely *must* win this or they won't see the EL at all—like they'll be in a panic until the end of the season. That just isn't true.

Real Sociedad is still fighting for an EL spot despite holding a 4-point lead over Villarreal. That said, they have the final round left against them, including a head-to-head match, and they’ll likely drop points against Athletic Bilbao next week. They need to secure the win today to wrap up their qualification goals. Their squad is fully intact with no injuries. On the other side, Granada is one of those teams that struggles immensely on the road. They are the perfect kind of opponent for a blowout in San Sebastian. I'm realistically looking at a 4-0 result, but even if things get tricky, a 2-0 should be on the cards. I’m hoping for a goal from either Griezmann—who isn't even listed by the bookies—or Carlos Vela, who has found the net in his last two matches. Earlier this season, Sociedad won this matchup 3-1 away from home. Good luck.

Sociedad isn't really fighting for anything critical here. 7th place also gets you into the EL. To be fair, they could still catch Sevilla and grab a direct group stage berth.

Also, don't forget Granada is fighting to stay in the league.

I'm not saying we won't see a single goal since Granada plays terribly, but since your main motivation for a single is that EL spot, I think this context matters. 😉

Eric Fox7 said:Brisbane vs Melbourne, Hearts at 1 @ 1.70

The best team in the Australian league is about to face one of its toughest challenges yet. After navigating through a bit of a slump, Brisbane has found their rhythm again, putting together a solid winning streak—mostly fueled by their strength at home. To make things even more interesting, Mitja Berisha is back in the lineup for the Roar, returning from his suspension following that red card.
After a brutal start to the season, the visitors finally managed to pull themselves out of the gutter, but they’ve hit another little slump lately—picking up only one point from their last three matches. Still, I don't see them throwing in the towel this early in the year. I'm expecting a solid game from them.
Since there was going to be a transition between these matches, I decided to go with a double chance option—specifically a 2/1 at 30 odds (Germania)—along with a 2:1 correct score at 7.00 (PSK).

Just a quick heads-up.

Brisbane has already locked up first place heading into the playoffs, while the visitors have a pretty slim shot at making the cut. I’m not sure if this will impact the starting lineups—specifically whether they'll decide to rotate the squad or give some players a rest—but it's definitely something worth keeping an eye on.

They're speculating about that over here:

FC Basel has been a steady presence in Europe for a long time. They’ve stumbled a bit in their last few matches, but they still hold a five-point lead in the league and have an easier matchup against FC Aarau this weekend. I expect them to push as hard as possible today to head into the second leg with some kind of advantage. This season, their only home loss was against Schalke 04 in the Champions League, plus one game in the domestic league...

Salzburg has been incredible this season. Of course, the Austrian league isn't the ultimate litmus test for their strength, but racking up 10 wins in 10 Europa League matches shows they are serious, even if their roster doesn't scream "superstars." They score a ton of goals, but I’m expecting a reality check today—maybe it's finally time for them to drop a match in the Europa League after that 10-game winning streak...

It’s a tough one to call, but I’m taking this because Salzburg isn't significantly stronger than Basel. At odds of 3.20, the Favorite offers enough value to make this worth a shot...

Good luck, everyone.

Stay...

I'm leaning more towards the over @1.75 for the Favorite.

Basel is dealing with some absences, but they are strong at home and score consistently. As for Salzburg, they play without any hesitation and put up massive numbers offensively. I think a fair price for the over would be around 1.55-1.6, so this feels like a must-play. 😉

nimbleskipper5 said:The license terms don't say anything about prohibiting commercial use for Home Basic.

Found this on the Microsoft Community:

Both Windows 7 Home Basic and Windows 7 Home Premium can be used for personal and commercial purposes, just as long as it meets your needs and objectives.

And you can check the license terms right here:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/legal...s/default.aspx

I'm aware of that, but I've seen comments suggesting that auditors here tend to get "allergic" to seeing Home versions being used in a corporate environment.

Try checking the BIOS—that setup menu you get when you restart the laptop before the OS starts booting. I know Dell has settings for function keys in there.

The real issue with upgrading to Windows 8 is that my user base is getting older, and they tend to react pretty poorly to big changes. It took me a long time just to get them comfortable moving from Windows XP and Office 2003 over to Windows 7 and Office 2010 🙄

That’s exactly why I’m trying to avoid any drastic shifts.

The bottom line is that I need to make sure all our computers stay compliant during software audits. I’m seeing conflicting reports online—some people say Windows 7 Home Basic is perfectly fine for commercial use, while others claim it isn't, and it's tough to find a definitive answer.

If anyone here has experience dealing with this, please feel free to share what you know.😉

We've started doing some software inventory at the office and tackling our "troublesome" components.

We realized that several laptops have Windows 7 Home Basic installed 🙂

I have a quick question. Is it actually possible to upgrade from Home Basic to Pro?

I know you can't just jump straight there, but could I move from Home Basic to Home Premium, and then from Premium to Pro (that part involves $0.38)? Is that even worth the hassle, or should I just grab a Retail Pro license and call it a day?

edit: Just got word that even Home Basic OEM can be used for commercial purposes (on business machines) :/

🙂🙂

Kill me now. I could have sworn it was at 1.65 just fifteen minutes ago, unless my eyesight is totally failing me. 😲

I literally just added it to my watchlist and sat down to type this, and now it’s sitting at 1.25.

Value's gone 😢

USA U21 vs. Netherlands - Exact Score other @1.25 (Parlay)

I'm playing this one purely on the numbers. Honestly, it feels like someone at the sportsbook made a massive mistake when setting these odds. Basically, you win this bet if either team scores at least three goals. Looking at the matchups, the Netherlands is the clear candidate here; they kicked things off in qualifying with a 4-0 blowout against Scotland. That same Scottish side put three past Luxembourg. To make matters worse, Luxembourg has surrendered 16 goals in just three qualifying matches—losing 3-0, 7-1, and 3-0—against teams that aren't even as strong as the Netherlands. Since the odds for the Netherlands to score over 2.5 goals are sitting right around 1.25, this is pure value.
Hi there.

I've run into an issue with Word, specifically involving the HRTimes font.

Here is the situation.

We share Word documents across several different computers here at the office. One workstation is running Office 2003, while the rest of us are using Office 2007.

Lately, when opening a document on that older Office 2003 machine, some of the text set in HRTimes isn't displaying as part of the Times New Roman font family. Instead, it keeps defaulting to some kind of Arial italic :/

The weirdest part is how inconsistent it is. It’s totally random—out of ten times I open the file, it looks fine seven times, but three times it shows up completely wrong.
