FC Barcelona vs. Spartak Moscow: Over 2.5 goals at 3.25 odds

There isn't much point in overanalyzing FC Barcelona, as everyone understands they are the heavy favorites heading into this matchup... but honestly, betting on them at 1.10 feels like a total waste of money, even if I fully expect them to cruise through. My take is that even if their finishing is a bit off today, they should still manage to find the back of the net at least twice, which makes this bet feel pretty similar to just backing Spartak to score. I’ve been digging into some of Spartak's recent stats, and if my memory serves me right, they’ve managed to score in only three official matches since the New Year, and that isn't because they're playing in a weak league or anything... They generally prefer an attacking style, though they probably won't play quite so openly here, but their manager is already hinting that they have what it takes to catch FC Barcelona off guard. Speaking of which, the manager is Unai Emery—who previously led Valencia CF and UD Almería—so he knows FC Barcelona inside and out and certainly understands how to set up a counter... To my mind, this specific odd offers real value and stands out as the most profitable play for today's game. We know the FC Barcelona defense can be prone to those unforced errors, especially early in the season, and while it’s always a bit of a gamble, knowing FC Barcelona will likely hold about 70% possession, I decided to put a smaller stake on this one...
I ended up finding it by using a COUNTIFS formula...

Things could get pretty messy down the road if the government decides to start slapping taxes on winnings from online bookmakers... I can almost guarantee our local bookies won't be happy about it; they'll likely slash the maximum bet limits, and trying to actually pull your cash out of an account might become a total nightmare if they force us to stick to physical locations... Honestly, if that happens, we might just have to pack our bags and move somewhere where this kind of thing is actually legal 😁
Hi everyone, I have a bit of an Excel puzzle on my hands, so I’m hoping someone here might be able to point me in the right direction... Let's say for example I have a list of numbers from 1 to 10 sitting in column E, and then I have another set of numbers from 1 to 10 over in column H.

What would be the best way to count how many times a specific value—let's say the number 3—appears in column H, but only if the corresponding cell in the same row in column E contains the number 1?

USA (59.5% possession) vs. Germany at 1.85

We all know how the Americans play—they’re obsessed with keeping the ball, just passing it around endlessly to build up until they find that perfect opening to score. While our midfield is actually holding its own quite well right now, if the scoreline stays in their favor for a while, I suspect we’ll end up sitting back pretty deep, just waiting for that one chance to hit them on a quick counterattack. Looking at the stats from when they played Italy, they held about 60% possession, and against Ireland, it was closer to 66%. This is the big one for them, so they’re going to want total control of the tempo, probably trying to hover somewhere between 65% and 70% possession... honestly, if we manage to take an early lead, I think we’ll just retreat even further, which makes me think there might be some decent value in betting on high possession here...

What do you guys think?

There’s an interesting situation brewing today in Major League Soccer regarding the matchup between Seattle Sounders and LAFC... It looks like taking the "12" option—meaning either team wins—at odds of 1.25 through DraftKings should be a relatively safe bet. Here is how I see the math playing out:

1) If Seattle pulls off the win, they lock in at least 4th place, securing a direct spot in the Europa League next season. Meanwhile, if LAFC wins their away game against Portland, they clinch 2nd place and a Champions League berth, which would drop Feyenoord—I mean, LAFC—into 3rd for the Europa League. However, that specific outcome actually benefits the Cup finalists, who would grab a Europa League spot because LAFC took the Champions League slot...

2) On the flip side, if Seattle loses, they land somewhere in 4th or 5th, which still gets them into the Europa League, while the win would send LAFC straight to the Champions League...

3) Now, if we end up with a draw, Seattle would likely slide down to 5th place—assuming the expected home victory for Atlanta over Chicago—while LAFC wins 2nd and heads to the Champions League, leaving the other side in 3rd. But in that scenario, once again, the Cup finalists secure their Europa League spot because LAFC moved up to the Champions League, which effectively pushes Seattle into the Europa League qualifiers instead of a direct entry...

So, basically, a draw is the only way Seattle ends up stuck in the qualifiers, whereas a win or a loss for them both results in direct qualification... Since LAFC absolutely needs this win to chase that Champions League dream, an away win is tempting, but just to play it safe, I’d suggest the "12" bet at 1.25. It feels like a solid move that should hold up...

Yeah, I’m looking to get some clarity on the fees too—you know, those percentages or flat rates you have to swallow during a transaction (sorry if this has already been covered somewhere up the thread):

1) When I'm moving funds from my foreign currency account (either at JP Morgan Chase or Goldman Sachs) over to Moneybookers?
2) When I'm transferring from Moneybookers straight to an online sportsbook?
3) During a withdrawal from the sportsbook back to Moneybookers?
4) And finally, when pulling money from Moneybookers back into my foreign currency account?

EDIT: If I've managed to wrap my head around this correctly...

1) It's 1.9%
2) There shouldn't be anything
3) Nothing there either
4) Just a flat $1.80

Roger Phillips said:Real hasn't conceded a goal in their last two matches, so it feels like today might be the day someone finally finds the back of the net...
In their last home win, Real kept a clean sheet. Usually, though, they tend to let at least one slip past them in Madrid; actually, they seem to concede more often at the Bernabéu than they do when they're playing away from home...
Over their last seven games, they've been conceding goals against teams like
Levante, Zaragoza, Athletic, Granada, FC Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, and Osasuna.
The last time they managed a shutout at home was way back on October 26, 2011, in a 3-0 win over Villarreal.
Espanyol is currently stuck in a bit of a rut, and if you ask me, Pochettino could probably point to their massive injury list as an excuse for the recent dip in form...
Regardless, there’s a decent chance Espanyol manages to get one past Iker Casillas, and at odds of 2.00, that looks like pretty solid value to me.

Personally, I think there's even better value in the double chance or over 2.5 goals, sitting at 2.80 on the sportsbook...
How exactly does the tiebreaker work if two teams finish level on points—is the group leader decided by their head-to-head matchup or just based on total goal difference?

Urolog recommendations in Washington, D.C. in Health ·
Hey everyone, I’ve been dealing with some health issues lately and was wondering if anyone could point me toward a really SOLID urologist here in Washington, D.C.... It doesn't matter if they take insurance or if it's a private practice, I just really need to see someone as soon as possible. I'm looking to get an exam done sooner rather than later... Thanks in advance!
