Say I have a dataset with columns for company name, product, stock levels, product class, and order count.
Does anyone know how to build a report where, upon opening, I can select a company from a dropdown menu, then pick a specific product to pull its stock, class, and order data?
I need to know if there’s a workaround for this:
When I convert a field into a combo box—basically creating a dropdown menu populated by a specific table or query—is it actually possible to pull data from multiple different tables at once?
Here is the setup:
Say I have one table for walls with their IDs, another for beams with their IDs, and a third for columns with their IDs.
I want to build a single combo box in my form that lets me select an ID from any of those three separate tables.

Code:
SELECT *
FROM Buildings
WHERE [Building Name] LIKE '*Part of the name you know*'
Great, thanks.
What if I don't know which buildings are actually in the list? Is there a way to set it up so instead of typing, I get a dropdown menu to pick from? How do I do that?
I have a question about queries—not sure if this has been asked before since there are so many threads here, but I couldn't find it.
Basically, I need to set up a query that pulls names, then uses a dropdown menu so I can select which specific name's results I want to see.
Here’s the scenario:
I have a table listing buildings where my cleaning company handles the stairwells. I need to pull data like the neighborhood, address, and the scheduled cleaning date for a specific building.
The problem is, I know the name of the building roughly, but not the exact title. I want to know how to create a query with a dropdown list of all buildings so I can just pick the right one.
What exactly should I put in the "criteria" field?
