Thanks, I finally managed to get the numbering sorted by putting everything under headings before I started editing. But now I’ve hit another snag—I'm working in Word 2007, and the header and footer settings are being incredibly stubborn. It won't let me put the page number on one side and the text on the other within the footer. It keeps forcing me to choose just one or the other. It's quite frustrating, really.
Greetings, everyone.
I find myself facing a bit of a predicament. I have roughly 160 images tucked away in a single file, and they are all stubbornly aligned to the left. Is there some sort of clever trick to center them all at once, along with their respective captions?
My second concern involves chapter numbering. Currently, everything is manually set up by level, which is quite tedious. I am wondering if there is an automated method to handle the numbering for the entire document simultaneously
specifically something like
1.
1.1
1.1.1
and so on.
Lastly—and this is my final inquiry for the moment—how does one adjust the spacing between a chapter title and the body text? When I attempt to tweak the paragraph settings, it seems to affect the paragraph itself rather than the heading properties. I would like both the header and the subsequent text to have a "before" spacing of 0 and an "after" spacing of 6.
The concert was absolutely incredible. I will say, I had some gripes with the acoustics—likely due to the sound bouncing off those oval walls in the arena—but honestly, that could have been fixed if they'd tried harder. Still, all that technical stuff just fades into the background when you're caught up in an atmosphere like that, both from the band and the crowd. It was class; no shoving, no rowdy nonsense, just pure energy. More than anything, I just hope they keep their word and we get to see them again.
