Thanks so much for the help! I ended up reverting to my original Excel file and managed to sort everything out using just basic sorting and filters,

LibreOffice Calc is decent, but I’m still not quite used to it yet. In my opinion, it feels a bit cluttered and unintuitive, especially if you aren't an expert user...
Here’s the document at this link:

What you ended up with in column C—and what you're actually looking for in column D—is basically just columns A and B sorted by column B.

Look, I totally get it. I only used that to keep things simple.
The real deal is that I need this for a list of about 10,000 numbers. I won't be looking at the whole set at once, but rather breaking it down into pieces—like the 10 smallest values or the top 50 most frequent ones.

In
column D, I want to list the COLOR names based on how many times they show up in column C.
To be more specific, cell D1 should say GREEN (since it appears 25 times, just like in cell C1), then D2 should say WHITE (because it shows up 31 times per C2), and so on.

So, which function can help me reorganize these colors using column C as my guide?
So, I’ve got a list of numbers in an Excel column—all sitting somewhere between 30 and 40. Let's say they look like this: 31, 33, 39, 36, 32, 38, 35, 34, 37.

I know how to grab the absolute minimum using the MIN(A1:A9) function,

but what I really need to figure out is how to find the *next* smallest number right after that first one, without including the minimum itself.

For example, if my first formula spits out 31, I need a way to get the next lowest value from the remaining numbers (which would be 32 in this case).

Does anyone know which function can pull that off?
Could use some help with this one...

I've got an Excel sheet set up with 40 columns and 1,500 rows, all filled with numbers ranging from 1 to 10.

Here's what I need to do:

a) Find the number that shows up the least often in the whole table.

b) Identify the 10 numbers that appear least frequently.

c) Figure out which number pops up most much in just the first 100 rows (so, the first 4,000 numbers)?

Should I be looking at a specific function, messing with filters, or maybe combining a few different things? Any ideas?
