Yeah, I did click Format, but my laptop kind of froze up on me for a second—it was being a bit finicky—but I pushed through and hit Next anyway, and that's how things went sideways. I found this tool called Easy BCD and I'm going to try to use it to clear things out, but if that doesn't work, I'll just have to bite the bullet and reinstall Windows from scratch...

So, I was running Windows 7 on my laptop and decided to install the new Windows—everything seemed to go perfectly fine during the setup process. But then, when I booted the machine back up, I got hit with that "Choose One Operating system" message (or something along those lines)—you know, that annoying boot menu screen? It’s giving me the option to pick between Windows 7 or Windows 7. The first Windows 7 listed is the new one I just put on, while the second one is just my old Windows 7 installation hanging around. Does anyone know how I can actually get rid of that old Windows 7 entry so it stops asking me?
