The Hangover Part II

I caught a movie yesterday, so I’ll drop my take on it soon, but first I need to address some of the nonsense I’ve been reading here.
Some people on this forum calling themselves "cinephiles" are kidding themselves. You aren't some big-shot film expert just because you've watched Casablanca a dozen times, memorized every line, and binged every Kurosawa flick, only to refuse to watch anything new because it's "trash." You actually have to watch everything before you get to play judge and jury on whether something sucks or not.
Comparing The Hangover Part II to Bruno is a joke; Bruno is just total garbage that has nothing to do with this. If you think the acting is bad, fine, say that. But Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis are easily two of the best young actors in the world right now. Honestly, some of you are just talking shit for the sake of it.
Let's be real: the movie isn't better than the first one. That's just a fact. It has killer jokes, though—the crowd in the theater was practically screaming after certain scenes, and it wasn't just a bunch of obnoxious teenagers either. People claim the script is too similar? Please. What did you expect, for the plot to pivot into some sci-fi thriller where aliens invade America? We knew exactly what we were getting into. And that’s actually why the movie works; the original was great, the sequel is very good, and there's no way they could screw up this specific formula. I didn't regret watching it for a single second, and I should probably mention the soundtrack is awesome, too.
If I were giving advice, I'd tell you: don't bother reading these threads until you've seen the movie yourself. Based on what people are typing here, you'd think it was absolute trash, which it definitely isn't.
