Best way to take supplements?

Quick question... I'm using these capsules that take forever to kick in—like, almost 2 hours later—and they sometimes mess with my stomach too. I was wondering if I could just pop the capsules open and dissolve the powder under my tongue instead? I do that with some of my other meds and it works way better than swallowing them, but I'm not sure about these specific ones...
