Hello everyone—I am looking for a bit of guidance or perhaps some advice from those who have been through this. I have a laptop running Windows 7 Professional (64-bit), and everything was functioning perfectly until a few days ago when I attempted to connect a printer to my PC. I downloaded the drivers directly from the manufacturer's website, which worked without any issues. However, shortly after, an update notification popped up, and in a moment of sheer confusion, I accidentally deleted my NVIDIA Control Panel drivers—I mistakenly assumed that downloading the printer software might have triggered the installation of other unwanted programs along with it. 🤦 Yes, I realize that was my own blunder. Since then, my setup has somehow transitioned into what people are calling a Windows 7 based system. At least, that is how it is being described in the forums I've been browsing, including their official support page (
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download). Honestly, I am hesitant to try any fixes because I am not entirely certain what the correct course of action is... 🤷
