Even this kind of help is pushing it; providing a finished, solved file would definitely be crossing the line from helping to just doing someone else's homework for them.

Everything works now, I just managed to screw something up myself 🙂 thanks so much for the help
Nicholas King said:Just copy-paste these formulas into Excel and you're done. Why even bother with an upload? 😕

I don't know... I just can't... look, please, if it's really not that big of a deal, just upload it for me.

The idea here is that you've got a number in C1 representing a percentage (say, 62). If you're actually typing "62%" into cell C1, then go with this:

=1+(C1>50%)+(C1>65%)+(C1>80%)+(C1>90%)

Just make sure you can actually explain how the logic works if whoever gave you this task asks. 🙂.

Could you maybe walk me through this a bit more? Or better yet, just whip it up in Microsoft Excel, upload it somewhere, and DM me the link...

Thanks!
Hey everyone, I could use a little hand here. I’m trying to tackle a task in Microsoft Excel but I'm feeling a bit stuck on how to approach it... Here is what I'm looking at:

In cell C2, I need to write a formula that looks at the percentage in cell C1 and assigns a grade based on this scale:

0%-50% = 1
51%-65% = 2
66%-80% = 3
80%-90% = 4
91%-100% = 5
