Kyle Johnson2 said:When you're messing around with nested Excel functions, you really have to play by the rules regarding syntax arguments. If you miss one, the whole thing falls apart.

The standard syntax for an Microsoft Excel IF function looks like this:

Code:
=IF(logical_test;value_if_true;value_if_false)

Basically, you've left out one of the required arguments.

If you decide to nest a SUM function inside an IF function, you need to make sure that the SUM argument is fully completed.
Your final formula should actually look more like this:

BTW, I dropped a link here for Excel Functions including syntax and arguments

[EDIT]: Sorry JohnColtrane, you beat me to the punch and already answered him while I was typing this up.

Thanks.
Can I get some advice here?
A few days ago, some IT guys came by my office to install an antivirus program, and right as they were doing it, the system crashed (we were running Windows XP at the time). The same technician took the computer to the service center and did a fresh install of Windows 7. Now, I’m trying to get back to work in Word, and I’ve hit a massive wall. It’s nothing fancy—just a standard table—but whenever I try to copy something from elsewhere (which is a huge part of my workflow) and then attempt to undo the action using that blue arrow at the top (you know, the "undo" command, Ctrl+Z), everything just freezes. The cursor turns into that spinning hourglass icon and stays stuck there for an hour without doing a single thing.
Is it possible that when the system crashed during the Windows update, it corrupted the file itself? This specific table is for the 2014 records, but honestly, none of my files from previous years are working right either; they all act the exact same way.
If anyone has any ideas on what might be causing this, please let me know. Thanks.
Can someone please help me get this working?
In this specific range of cells, if the sum is less than twenty, I want it to just show 20. Otherwise, it should just display the actual total.
I tried tackling it this way, but I feel like I'm missing something crucial and I can't for the life of me figure out what's broken.
=IF(SUM(B3🙂6)div>
